Here is my situation.

I have $19.14 in my paypal account. I found the guy here and hopefully he'll be giving me steady writing work. Aside from that, I'll figure it out.

As of now, I think I'm going to write my way to $500 and then decide on my next course of action. I have some more writing to do, so I'll update tomorrow with how things are going.

Here is the goal:

$4,000 before October 31st

Atleast somebody is...

Paypal account is now sitting at $67.56. I also wrote another $20 for textbroker but who knows when that will come in. I sat down with a pad an mapped out my adventure. I read Amada's post and email looks good. It seems like microniche sites are pretty hot right now, so if i can get a nice domain and flip that, I feel like it would be a good return on my investment. I'm going to have a few beers and pass out. It was a long day.

Even with a bookmarking / social heavy strategy..... unless you wanted to hit trending terms.

Oh shit the forum is alive.

I figure its maybe 1700 words and the cost of a domain. As long as I wait for namecheap to hit 10k new fans, that'll cost me time and $2. I'm ok with that.

Either way as long as I get a solid emd, its money. Give me a few days and maybe you'll give me a discount?

Man, EMD aren't as easy as people make them sound. You won't get any significant traffic unless the keyword your targeting gets over 10k searches/month. At that level you can't rank within a month unless you got skills. Your only hope is to rank for dozens of keywords that get 1k searches/month.

I don't mean to discourage you though. Maybe work on building a brand instead...or learn PPC fast.

Technique:

- Get a news related domain
- Celebs are good, has to be huuuge celeb
- Reg domain with EMD of what happened like "Micheal Jackson dies"
- Put 1K word article on it, plus some pics, plus adsense
- Buy Social Bookmarking bomb blast
- LEt it sit for two weeks
- Collect profits
- Sell site

This but use a 2k word article. Use h2 tags to create sub headings and hit like 5 terms.

Also - 1 bookmark bomb per hosting account or you will have really mixed results.

I'm at $112.87. I did some writing a lot of planning and found a few people to give me some tips. We'll see how it goes. I'll post a more details plan tomorrow.

Well just for the hell of it I bought a domain with an EMD .org for a recent tech product release that has a decent amount of buzz (not the iphone 5).

Built out a quick wordpress site with 1k words and a few different keywords in H2/3 tags. Just loaded it all up into sick submitter and getting ready to blast it.

I will let you know how it goes.

I did this at well and was sitting at #3 to #4 for various terms.

Site started collecting after 2 weeks, made ~$100 off adsense and then quickly sold it (as interest was waning already).

Used the social bookmarking blast for it, though.
