Guess this is a newbie type question
Following Jons KISS article, he mentions something about dominating a niche and finding something that works and repeating it.
Id like to dominate a certain niche and have a couple sites within that niche that are making me some money, so now what. Ive found something that works should I just be basically copying the sites that are making money? Say I make a site xxx.com and it is making $xxx a month, should I take the same site and pretty much copy it 100 times using a different domain and changing the design a bit? If so some may get wacked for duplicate content, but I figure a certain percentage of them will not. Any thoughts? |

The niche that I have been working is a bitch as far as generating traffic, its not easy to promote because it is such a small one.
Allot of the sources others use to generate traffic are not avaliable to me, so I guess I have no idea where im going with this, but yes I think I could, but this would be one thing id like to try to spend less time doing. If I have 100 sites within the same niche even though they are similar I should be able to use them to point traffic. And chances are that if you have 100 sites within a small niche at least a few of them are going to make it to the top. Is it logical to make 100 sites within the same small niche that are very similar or should I be focusing on finding different niches to work? |

I guess the what I am trying to get around to, is it better to have 100 sites up in a small niche with similar content rather than a few?
Has anyone tryed this and had success? Or maybe even 100 doorway pages set up with subs to pull in traffic to the main site? Id like to dominate this niche im in, but really dont know what to do and building 100 totally unique sites for this niche would be almost imposible Anyones help and experience would be much appreciated Thank Jer |
