Multiple Adsense Accounts

Wondering if anybody can tell me this: if you use the same bank account number on both Adsense Accounts... won't Google find out and ban me on one of them? I am asking in advance so I do not make a mistake with my second Adsense Account -- but to be honest I am not even 100% sure multiple Adsense Accounts are against Googles TOS.

Thanks,

Um.. you can't have multiple AdSense accounts unless they are registered under different business names.

close the account, or email them and apologize for the mistake and ask them to close it for you.

Why would you want more than one for just yourself?

You're able to use channels and stuff so that you don't need to.

I have some good advice for people making good money off adsense. This is from my experience take it or leave it. All figures mentioned are made up.

This applies to people with multiple sites doing a good bit of revenue off of adsense.

Don’t let one adsense account make too much money. Setup separate corporate entities and get different bank accounts/ein for each. It’s much safer to have 10 corporate entities bringing in 10k each/month then 1 bringing in 100k.

I have never had a 100k check from Google but I can’t imagine what kind of flags it would raise. I have had significantly less and I can tell you its fricking hard just to get it cashed with out a 3 week hold on it.

Pretty much what I do is setup new sites with the parent company then once they are doing > 5k/month in adsense move them to there own incorporation. It will take a few weeks to get setup and get your tax numbers but with the volatility in this market that 5k could be 20k by the time your setup. That is really important because having separate entities keeps 1 website/bank from killing your whole empire. All someone has to do is complain about copyright or whatever or any of the other horror stories we have heard about getting shutoff from adsense and boom your whole business is out. Setup multiple corporate entities and you will have safteynets.

Costs per entity are anywhere from 300-600$ to incorporate (this should be at least a daily income per entity) and standard checking account fees (or not).

Here is a Quote from SHOEMONEY about having more then one account with google....source from http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showt...hlight=my+tips

I havent started making big money yet but i save this in word for later down the road....

Some people get jealous when you start kicking there ass in the SERPS & resorting to click bombs to take you out. The last 3 months, there has been a huge increase in people trying to cancel other peoples adsense accounts, & its only to get worse...

Delaware LLC's are only $150, & you only need one director. In addition, the ownership details of the company isn't available to the general public & foreign nationals can actual control the company.

I only have one website that makes good money and since June its per click rate has gone from a measly 7-10 cent avg/day to about 10-20 cents avg/day. Although this isn't a big difference as its so small, it still nearly doubles the revenue that I used to make.

So, I wouldn't want to start any of my new upcoming projects on this same adsense account because for newer sites, I'll be trying to get more clicks by hiding the ads, etc, the normal things people do.

This could have me hit with smart pricing, and I wouldn't want that for my major site. Wouldn't it be smart to have multiple accounts as shoemoney has pointed out?

You don't need to be incorporated to get a new AdSense account, this is a cheaper route... All you need to do is get an EIN (takes maybe 10 minutes over the phone) and a DBA from town hall. Lastly you'll need to buy a Fictious Name Statement from your local paper (maybe $50).

You'll have to have a bank account tied to the company name though.

Get an EIN here: http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/...102767,00.html

A fictious name statement is where you say what name you will be doing business under.

Nice idea, but it isn't a seperate legal enitity, & you may have problems with adsense TOS for multiple accounts. Multiple adsense accounts linked to one bank account is a huge red flag. Also it would have to pay tax on money earned. Where as, you can have multiple LLC's that can pass on income to a s-corp or individual & tax is only payed once by the s-corp or individual.

This is the same thing as having seperate corporations; isnt it? Can the fictitous name be something like: Internet Advertising Company?
