Ok so, I've done the whole make a website or a blog, put adsense then make money, but the most i've made is like $5,000 and that was from a really good idea I had (Not bad for a 15 year old). But anyway, I've been looking into affiliate marketing. so I really wana know more, this is what I know so far.
- You apply and go to an affiliate network (CJ, Azoogle, ClickBank..etc) (I just signed up to CJ) - You find a product you think you like and make a website around it - You promote the fuck out of the website until you make a few good sales per/day. Now I really wana know about PPC. Do you just make a campaign with a whole bunch of good keywords for the product your pushing, setup a landing page and direct ppc traffic to the landing page hoping your sales are more then what you spend on PPC. Is that basically affiliate marketing or am I missing alot of things? ![]()

Your bullet points are pretty much right. There are more ways to promote than PPC. As for starting, campaign, divide keywords into related ad groups, then send it to one landing page or landing pages divided by ad group.
Its a lot more complicated than that. You can read free tutorials. Start with Google's Adwords tutorials., and go from there. You just have to learn from your own experience trial & error. Everything will vary by who you are using, what type of offers you are promoting, algorithm updates, account reps being a pain in the ass, and so on. |
