A list of Ad Networks
Figured it would be nice to have them all in one place... always will let newbies know what each kind is.
Cost per click - the cost or cost-equivalent paid per click-through.
Yahoo Publisher Network (Beta)
Cost per thousand impressions
Buds Ad Network
24/7 Real Media
Mamma Media Solutions
Ad pepper Media
Cost per Action - model in which payment is based solely on qualifying actions such as sales or registrations.
thanks for the list, should be useful when I get enough traffic to test them all out :)
ooo I was looking for something like this! Thank you!
Are all of the cost per click services contextual like google and yahoo?
Thanks for the list! I'm copying it to my "ideas" notepad to have on file.
Any reviews on what CPM networks are good? I've got a pending application in at Tribal Fusion, anyone else I should be applying to? This is for a site that serves up about 1.5mill pageviews/month. Around 3mill ad impressions.
lol, way to rip that list from SitePoint :P
nice list, for PPC here is another one: Adengage.com
lol I noticed that too but it works, many here have not seen it :)
Probably found the thread on SP, copy/pasted it into my file for personal use and just put it back here.
Dont see anything wrong with having it here and there? I like this site better and would rather have the info here.
just a side note to adengage while we are talking about it
its has some deals on it and there are some decently priced sites that can bring you trafic but its slowly turning into Traffic from Turkey!
Nothing agsint my friends in Turkey but the traffic is usless as far as conversion rates and even worse if you use YPN. I run ads on a few sites but I have to carefully screen each site before I purchase to make sure they have 50% or more US traffic. I then also make sure the anchor text is something more identifiable by US visitors. Not sure if it discourages non us clicks but thats the hope anyway
just fyi :)
Good List, didn't know some of them.
You might want to add http://www.realcastmedia.com/ to the CPM section.
Sorry for the newb question, but in CPC, do I get paid, or do I have to pay for each click? I was under the impression that CPC was basically me paying someone else for every click which was directed to my site? Or is that I display ads on my site, and for every click for the ads on my site, I get paid?
That depends on whether you're a publisher or advertiser. ;)
Deronsizemore, To elaborate on what Young Twig said, if you are an advertiser with a CPC ad network, you are paying for every visitor who clicks on your ad.
If you are a publisher, and have someone elses ads on your site, you are paid for every visitor who clicks on that ad.
VinSVT - Shameless Self Promotion if thats okay.
and perhaps Coreg may be another category you should consider:
Coregisteer.com (of course)
For those of you not familiar with Coreg (Co-Registration), its the process of placing a registration path after the registration form on your site. The user is shown some offers on this path before they are redirected back to your site. If the user requests additional information or signs up to any offers on this path, you get paid. Its a great way to montize anything free that you give away on your site, that requires a registration.
I noticed a lot of the second tier CPA networks aren't up on that list! Any reason? I have found they work a lot harder for me a lot more personal care, almost super affiliate status for little guys or what we call newbies like myself. They give a lot more attention to there affiliates! That has been my expierence, I am looking for some feed back maybe I am missing something? Before I go and post'em I wouldn't want to direct a Newbie to a place they can get hurt and have a bad taste in there mouth. Forgive me I am a bit careful.
it would be nice to see a list of those ad networks that can be use with eachother...in other words google can be used with AdBrite as long as it's not contextual text links and so and so forth...anyone?
European, mostly CPA/CPL
CPA/ COPEAC.com !!!!
You might want to add CPAEmpire to the CPA list.
CPM = HurricaneDigitalMedia.com
CPM = claxon.com
CPM = cpxinteractive.com

what is that when you get paid for every 1000 impressions
what are impressions??
CPM. an impression is someone seeing the banner or whatever it is. So, 1,000 people see your banner and you get $1/cpm then you just made a $1.
Looking for affiliate progs?
Revenue Gateway - Revenuegateway Affiliate Program and Affiliate Advertising Network - CPA
thanks for the links guys :D
Which CPM network is the easiest to get accepted for the publishing side? I've been doing CPC and CPA only so far, but want to get some CPM going.
Precision click was easy to get accepted, but they have sucked ass for me.
What are the essentials for a good CPM publishing program?
I'm earning $.20 per thousand with them when the estimated epm is like $2, so I think they suck. I don't have any experience with other companies, so I'm not sure. Precisionclick does a wierd payout thing where they adjust the rate depending on how many clicks you get and conversions. Their own version of smart pricing. This may be good for you, but my traffic is shit on this site.
I use usercash and have for a few years now. They pay through paypal with automatic deposits. Click on my sig and check it out.
Adagency1 is probably the shittiest one out there, i was getting paid 0.01 for 98% American(62) > Canadian(22) > UK traffic(14)
great info here.. i was just looking for a list cpm at another forum.. good sh!t
There was also a list on econsultant, it was a top ten and grew to 73:
Top Advertising Networks : Technical Lists : eConsultant
any lists on reviews from an advertising standpoint? As in using AdBrite to advertise instead of being the publisher?
