Any reviews on what CPM networks are good? I've got a pending application in at Tribal Fusion, anyone else I should be applying to? This is for a site that serves up about 1.5mill pageviews/month. Around 3mill ad impressions.

Eh.. was pulling things out of personal files I have on my computer.

Probably found the thread on SP, copy/pasted it into my file for personal use and just put it back here.

Dont see anything wrong with having it here and there? I like this site better and would rather have the info here.

its has some deals on it and there are some decently priced sites that can bring you trafic but its slowly turning into Traffic from Turkey!

Nothing agsint my friends in Turkey but the traffic is usless as far as conversion rates and even worse if you use YPN. I run ads on a few sites but I have to carefully screen each site before I purchase to make sure they have 50% or more US traffic. I then also make sure the anchor text is something more identifiable by US visitors. Not sure if it discourages non us clicks but thats the hope anyway

Sorry for the newb question, but in CPC, do I get paid, or do I have to pay for each click? I was under the impression that CPC was basically me paying someone else for every click which was directed to my site? Or is that I display ads on my site, and for every click for the ads on my site, I get paid?

Deronsizemore, To elaborate on what Young Twig said, if you are an advertiser with a CPC ad network, you are paying for every visitor who clicks on your ad.

If you are a publisher, and have someone elses ads on your site, you are paid for every visitor who clicks on that ad.

I noticed a lot of the second tier CPA networks aren't up on that list! Any reason? I have found they work a lot harder for me a lot more personal care, almost super affiliate status for little guys or what we call newbies like myself. They give a lot more attention to there affiliates! That has been my expierence, I am looking for some feed back maybe I am missing something? Before I go and post'em I wouldn't want to direct a Newbie to a place they can get hurt and have a bad taste in there mouth. Forgive me I am a bit careful.

CPM. an impression is someone seeing the banner or whatever it is. So, 1,000 people see your banner and you get $1/cpm then you just made a $1.

I'm earning $.20 per thousand with them when the estimated epm is like $2, so I think they suck. I don't have any experience with other companies, so I'm not sure. Precisionclick does a wierd payout thing where they adjust the rate depending on how many clicks you get and conversions. Their own version of smart pricing. This may be good for you, but my traffic is shit on this site.

Yeah, that sucks. $2 doesn't even really seem that that great. I guess it depends a little. Is the banner big? Above the fold?
