It's nothing huge, especially to you AM Ballas, but yesterday officially marks my first complete week of $100 days! Next stop consistent $200 days! So anyway, I'm throwing this out to everyone struggling like I have. Keep after it. Keep working hard. Focus. Focus. Focus. It's out there!

Thanks, everyone. Not splogs. It's just a handful of them. Honestly I'm not techie enough to figure out how to churn out a zillion of them. Quality over quantity. For anyone starting blogs, I recommend Yaro Starak's Blog Progit Blueprint...especially what he says about "pillar articles". PM Me if you need a link.

I don't automate anything really...no scraping or anything like that. It's just articles I write myself.
Two tips: 1. It's been said over and over but Craigslist drives free traffic. 2. This is my own list-building tip and it has worked great! I create a pdf version of every one of my articles and link to it at the end of the article. If someone wants the pdf to print to read in the can or whatever, they have to join my list to get it. You'll be amazed how well this works. |

Ok I skimmed it. It's an ebook. I'm so sick of this Motivational self help crap. You know it when you see statements like "Passions vs Profit" and
"In order to avoid the fate of the lazy, psychologically-trapped person, focus on one very powerful idea – taking action – and not just any action, actions congruent with your goals. " You know, honestly (listen up geeks) I would PAY for an ebook if it actually contained really good information. Like if somone would sit down and write "How to do WPMU from start to finish" . So basically take all the information in WF,(installing wpmu, the php coding, pinging, autoblogging, cycle sites, plugins..etc) dumb it down and then put it in a nice neat chronologically organized, DIY package; I WOULD PAY FOR IT. But these ridiculous touchy feely I-can-do-it-and-so-can-you-ebooks are just just boarder line insulting. (PS this has nothing to do with anyone in this thread...just a random rant about ebooks)

But the pillar article strategy and the way he prioritizes things you need to do to get a blog off the ground make sense. |

I'm serious. Infact, I think someone at WF should do this. I don't think it would be an ebook. It would be a worthy instruction manual/tutorial. I'm certain there would be a demand for it although admittedly not as high as the sheeple buying ebooks. But at least you could be proud of the product you sell. And if someone does this I would be willing to be the editor/Guinea pig.
(Not meaning to hijack the thread, Dover, congrats on your success, keep it up! )
