Ppc Is it ever more effective to PPC straight to the merchant's landing page?

Restating, is it ever more effective to PPC straight to the merchant/advertiser's landing page instead of building your own middleman? (PPC linking straight to your own aff link which redirects to merchants landing page)

My merchant's landing page is loaded with keywords, SEO optimized and has the whole works and of course it's more attractive and effective than the one I was working on until I realized their LP kicks ass.

For good measure, I checked https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal to make sure their landing page has the right keywords and sure enough, it does. So quality score related to keywords will be good.

So does it make sense to PPC campaign straight to my aff link? Does the redirect tarnish my Quality Score? Any thoughts?
