First off i want to preface that i am a newbie to this forum, but not a newbie to blogging/ web marketing, so don't get on my case for addressing the noobs.

Now to the point...

So your a noob and you want to get your foot in the door making some cash. I get that. But for fuck's sake please don't make an Autoblog!

Why?

Because Autoblogs are spam. They are lazy. And they suck...

As a blogger who works hard to write content to attract my readers nothing pisses me off more than when i see my content showing up on some assholes site looking for a free ride.

Stop being lazy and find something you like and write about it. Or pay someone to write about it for you. You don't learn anything when you autoblog. And you get a bad rep. And i'll hate you...

Plus people (like me) will report you to adsense. When people rip off my content I'll ask them twice to stop. if they don't i send an email to adsense (i have a good relationship with them) and tell them about the spam blog ripping off my content. Sometimes those people get banned from adsense. Sometimes they are lucky and they get warned.

So seriously, stop being a lazy shit and sped some time to write about something you like. And i guarantee you will make much more $$$ in the long run that way.....

p.s. and if you are gonna totally ignore me, AT LEAST link back to my fucking site when you steal my content. Ass(hat?).

Nobody said you had to create all this fantastic content. You can create shit if you like. Point is, there will always be someone out there with an autoblog, and even a complete spam blog that may or may not use your content. You can spend lots of time trying to hunt them down and report them to the Google Police, or you can spend that same time building more sites / blogs and in theory make more money.

Your decision.

Oh yeah, and I agree with MyOwnDemon, you need to sort out your ass and head before you do anymore thinking.

Because many of us like to make money with no effort. That's what making money on the internet is about. Maximum output for minimum effort. Even when it comes to legit sites, the more automated the better.

You should feel honored that your worthless website is even worthy of being ripped off by an autoblog.

You can keep emailing adsense like a sandy vag tattletale if you want, but in the time it took you to do that, i'll have earned twice your site's monthly revenue. Adapt or get paved the fuck over, retard.

I've only emailed adsense when i asked the person to remove my content OR link to me and they did neither....

Plus, how much do you actually make with autoblogs anyway? It's not unique content, and people think they are this automatic get-rich plan. It's just wrong...

All i see on DP is people asking for help to make autoblogs (which is also annoying b/c it's so freaking easy with the right plugin) and then a few weeks later they bitch that they are not making anything....

The point of this thread is to address noobs who want to make an autoblog b/c they are too lazy to put any effort into a real site and make real money...

At least go to eZine and get free articles that people WANT you to use. At least you're not ripping something off someone does not want you to take....

Adapt? autoblogs are OLD already. they're effectiveness is on the DECLINE as every fucking noob starts one and google is getting smarter at recognizing duplicate content.

You really are clueless, aren't you? There are far more uses for autoblogs besides Adsense pages. In fact, I wouldn't recommend running Adsense on an autoblog because you're not the one writing the content. So, there is the possibility (likelihood) that something will slip through that is against Adsense's TOS.

Do more research before you start spouting off like the n00b you are.

I was referring to google SERPs, not adsense, recognizing your site as duplicate content...

From what i see people use autoblogs to get content about their niche to have better serp ranking. But if it's duplicate content it won't work that well....

i guess the other reason may be to have more keywords, my guess is that could help a PPC campaign and Quality Score?? (am i starting to see the light? or am i way off there?)

Google doesn't really give a shit about dupe content. I've got a site that is 100% dupe content and it's ranked number one in the SERPs for a term that gets close to 1000 Predicted Daily Searches according to WordTracker.

I had a blog network (auto blog of course) and was gaining more back links than my other Original Content Blogs and were ranking better for a few sources. And guess what i sold them for a lucrative deal.

The only problem i had with them was my limited Hosting account was full and i did not want to spend for unlimited hosting account. Also the deal got me the money which was well wroth for owning a so called " Dupe Content Auto Blogs ".

I've noticed any probs as of yet. In fact my current blogs are linked to each other as well. I post on one blog n then it replicate itself to all others. Works very well for me. However am not stealing from anywhere but am spreading the same content on my blogs.

Yeah, thinking before you post is probably a good idea. Like most things, autoblogs can be used for Good or Evil. Well, maybe that's overdramatizing things, but you get the idea.

I like to use autoblogs to test out niches before spending a lot of time on them. How? By watching the backlinks and traffic. If you don't see shit for either, then in all likelihood the niche is not worth spending more time. I can put an autoblog up in about 5 minutes (no kidding, I was bored and timed it), but a "real" site takes hours (minimum) to days, weeks or months, depending on its potential / design / content, etc.

ok ppl. i think it's becoming quite obvious that i was wrong about this post. SEO_Mie and others have sent me some good reasons to use autoblogs that i never thought of. I guess my original impression was that people use autoblogs to rip off my site content just because they are too lazy to write it. But i see that this isn't always the case, especially when it comes to niche markets....

Let's just say lesson learned: don't post on a topic you don't know much about. especially if you are trying to give advice....

Now that I've made an ass out of my self and already tainted my rep on this site. Let's all try and move on...

It's WickedFire's way of seeing if you can handle the heat. If it gets under your skin, and you can't take it, then you'll leave.
