Fuck More newbie questions

Hi, I'm a newbie to internet markerting and this is my first post here. I've got two questions if anyone's kind enough to help me out.

1. I want to create a website but don't know any html or php. I've stumbled upon some webhosting companies (homestead.com or googlemoneyprosites.com) that have have templates and such so that I can create my websites without any html knowledge. Now, how exactly would these websites get indexed into prominent search engines if they get indexed at all? Does it have to do with keywords and meta tags? Do you recommend taking this approach?

2. With CommissionJunction, how can I create my own direct link to merchant's specific product instead of the homepage?

Thank you.

Domains are what you seek. If you've chosen a product at Commission Junction, choose a keyword rich domain name. For example, if it's a product about blogging, try coming up with a catchy domain...getpaidtoblog.com....something like that. I'm sure that's already taken.

If you can't think of anything, take your niche keywords like internet marketing, or social networking....whatever it might be and plug it into a domain name generator. This one is great...type in a word or phrase and it will give you a whole list.

Register the name with Namecheap or GoDaddy, and use the redirect tools to redirect the link to the product. Simple as that....then promote it.

HTML and PHP troubles....I have a working knowledge of HTML, but am by no means fluent...I recently set up a site on my hosting using Template Express which is part of Fantastico. Fantastico is a service provided by many hosts that has one-click install for many things like WordPress blogs, PHPBB2 forums, and more.

Fantastico installs the site, and from there it's pretty simple to edit. Do a little reading around...I'm sure you can find plenty of info on Google. Let me know if I can help. I hope this helps and best of luck.

for domain name generator, check out bustaname.com

also, to get a website going, learn wordpress. You don't need to know any coding to use it.

True, but you do need to know the tricks to avoid having to use coding. A lesson I recently learned about WordPress: make sure you find a Widget-ready theme. Go here for those.

I don't recommend you to use a template if you really want your site to rank high. Try to learn to do it by yourself, or at least hire someone who knows how to do them well.

I can't reply the commission junction part, sorry, but hope what I wrote above will help you.

yes, you can link directly to a product with commission junction. When you are in your account, click on the "get links" tab. Then choose the "by relationship" button. It will show all of the merchants who have accepted you to promote their products. By each of the merchants links, there should be a link that says "view products" click on it and then just click on the product you want to promote and you will get your affiliate link that goes directly to it.

If you haven't applied to a merchant to promote their products, you obviously must do that first, otherwise you wont have any merchants listed in the "by relationship" section.
You have to first apply to programs

mm... I argue this. I find w3scools pretty outdated. Check this one: How to make a web page while I complete the CSS section.
