I have some questions...I have a personal blog at terrazoa, life on earth, it's been up for at least a year. I've never involved it in questionable seo practices before. I did use the word fuck once, but I took it down rather quickly after thinking it over.
So here's my confusions... My site has a fair number of backlinks, yahoo detects 600+, I dunno about msn. Google detects 8. Google has ALWAYS detected 8. It never raises and it never lowers. Meanwhile I've submitted to 500+ directories, which as they get spidered is causing my yahoo links to go up...but google is always at 8. Did I receive some sort of banhammer or something? Google did recently bestow my site a PR3...but I've still only got 8 backlinks...wtf? That should at least be 20-30...more like 80-100 at think point I think. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to test this...I swear google has something against this site. It just doesn't make sense. Am I broken? Is there a better backlink tool to use besides the ....site: tag in google search itself? |

But to answer your question, Google never shows all of your inbound links, so don't sweat it. |

What they said. Google never shows an accurate count (unless you have 0 links).
