Newbiealert Landing Page Critique Please

I have designed many websites in the past but never a landing page until I got involved in AM. Anyhow, I was thinking about getting into creating custom landing pages for people but I wanted to get some feedback. If it sucks.., well then I guess I have to go back to the drawing board but if it's good then I may start off by doing a couple of freebies. Anyhow, if you guys can let me know what you think, I would appreciate it. I've got my armor on.

Looks more like a creative than a landing page. Landing pages typically have forms in them, not a link to another page.

Either way, not bad. I think the more you create the better you will get.

If you're running it as an email or zip submit, perhaps put in a form field where that info can be put in, and HAS to be in, before they can click to "find a date now".
You've got your info, they'll get to go to the part of the site they want. Everyone's a winner, except them... So really, you're a winner.

Yah, that's not a landing page, it's a creative or banner.

Imo, a landing page is a sales page with a strong call to action.

but that's just me,
