Shopping Cart software?

What are peoples preferred shopping cart software? Ive started looking around at them, and noticed quite a few ones included for free on fantastico, while others have a license fee of a couple dollars to a couple hundred. To people who have used the software, what's your favorite and why?

I like PDG Cart http://www.pdgsoft.com. I find it to be very customisable and it is simple to use both admin and user ends...

I've used x-cart which was kind of a pain but pretty powerful. Cubecart was alright, simple.

Right now I'm playing around with Virtuemart + Joomla, I like this the best so far I think.

zencart, miva, oscommerce... they can all work with the right person behind them. I personally write my own.

OSCommerce is my preference. There are tons of mods/plugins for it and it is very customizable.

I usually embed paypal into a normal page, along with oscommerce.

You should try Zencart or CRE loaded then, a little more up-to-date, better packaged versions of oscommerce

never used it, but people say good things about oscommerce. Of course if you want it up tonight, you can always integrate with paypal.

I've seen some good sites using osCommerce - CB Swords, for example - so I'd look into that first.

I like oscommerce. I had one once that I added mods to like crazy. It was quite the creation. Plus the people in that forum are REALLY helpful. Some of them will spend hours just helping you solve a problem.
