Question using non-PPC or other advertising?
I know a lot of people talk about using PPC advertising with their affiliate offers (mainly Adwords), but I was wondering if anybody ever used any non-PPC advertisement methods, such as pay-per-impression, paid blog postings, or anything of that nature.

I am just using SEO now.

Yes, IMO they have the greatest risk but possibly a huge rewards.

I advertised with a site that gave me 500CPM for about $450, and I got a great CTR but no sales.

I've never done paid postings because I think you risk (but an unlikely) Google penalty.
