Need to Make Money Fast!
I tend to be long winded but I am going to try not to be right now. I'll just say that I have been making a living online for two years, doing paid posting and now that I have lost my PR and thus the big money ads for paid posting I am just about broke and feeling panicky. I have signed up with a ton of affiliates, fallen for several get rich quick schemes, tried freebies, gpts, and several other money making opps, but nothing is working, not to bring in the kind of money you need to pay the bills.
I have no problem with black hat tactics, in fact I like them. The only thing is, I don't understand all the technical part. I read about cookie stuffing, cloaking, etc, and my brain turns to mush. I can follow directions, however. I have come here seeking help. The bills are piling up, the rent is due this Monday, and I need a sure fire way to make some money fast. As far as the long term, I need something to get fired up about!  I don't want a JOB, I want a challenge, an adventure, money coming in regularly from my entreprenuiral efforts. I have never been a follower, always had my own business in the real world. Help me out, huh? |

LOL.
You want to make money from your entrepreneurial efforts, but don't want to site down and take the time to learn the technical aspects of black hat seo. You want a challenge and an adventure... as long as it help pay the rent which is due in less than a week. -- Build some sites with the goal of them pulling in passive income in the long run, and while you keep building those sites pick up a temporary job.

You guys are a scream. At least I got a good laugh this morning.
About reading: I have been reading, but there is always a technical aspect I don't get. I am not dumb, I just need some direction. That's why I came here. I was going to join Blackhat World instead, I have spent a lot of time READING there, but they have a bad rep online and you guys are highly recommended. Maybe it's because people love to be belittled?  |

We'll give you tips, tho. And then we'll harass you, but we ain't gonna play mommy. So keep studying, provide valuable info here, and we might help you out a little. Nothing in life is free tho... with a little WORK though, it might pay off. You did paid postings... why dont you do some freelance writing. People on WF always need shit written. If its good you could make like... 2 - 3 cents a word and up. Then go target big corporations and make 10 - 20 cents a word or more! I used to make enough to pay the bills and pay for my tuition doing that. |

I appreciate all the good advice, but MAN writing is boring! I mean content writing. I love writing poetry and fiction, but you damn sure can't make a living writing that stuff unless you are famous.
Thanks also for the lead to nickycakes. I love the blog! I found something I am pretty sure I can do on YouTube, or I saw another deal about eBay, I have sent an email to the poster with questions. I'd rather do just about anything rather than content writing, even strip.  I have actually been doing phone sex work but I am too...something...to hustle customers in chat rooms. Feels kinda dirty. |

Here's the thing: you're getting flamed because you asked "how can I make money." There are so many options...you need to be more specific. Ask "how can I make money with..." and you'll get a more positive response. If you're brushing up that close with missing rent, I'd suggest you do the following as quickly as possible: 1. Get a temporary job (or start writing your ass off, as discussed above). This isn't a long term plan, it's just to cover your ass. Believe me, I hate the 9-5 grind, but if for whatever reason all my income stopped coming and my savings disappeared, it's exactly what I'd do. Once you get back on your feet online you can quit. 2. Research the shit out of all tactics/ideas/strategies you think will earn you money short term. Make a list of ideas and questions. Do NOT pay for ebooks or anything else. 3. Ask questions about the ideas. You're likely to get more help this way. 4. Implement your ideas. With dedication and a bit of luck, you'll start making some dough. 5. Start planning long term online. Build it up. 6. Quit your day job and focus online. 7. My final suggestion is to have a minimum of 6 months of living expenses tucked away somewhere. Forget that it exists. I've done this and believe me, I can actually sleep at night now. Also, I offer uber phone consultation packages in exchange for phone sex / dirty pictures.
