I have a few blogs up that I am running with wordpress.org and i have a slight problem with one of them... When i try to add a new category it simply won't let me. No error message or anything! I click and no new page loads, its basically like i didnt click anything at all. My other blogs don't have any problem putting in new categories so I don't know why it is happening. I did install the All in one SEO tool so i'm not sure if that changes anything (my other blogs dont have it yet) but i don't know why it would do anything with my categories.
As a slightly seperate question: (noob question here) With the All in One SEO Tool what option do I change to make it so it stops changing the description the search engine shows to my post titles? I went into the options of the tool and changed the blog description to %blog_description% and thought it would load the one I wrote orginally but yeah... nothing happened. Anyways, any help would be appreciated. If you guys answer my questions I promise to put up a nice boob post this weekend ![]()

Yes I am putting this in for money but give it a shot, its one of the better deals out there. Here's the details: Try using Deal Dot Com for affiliate links. When you refer others to Deal Dot Com they get a free account and anything that they buy will give you 35% commission forever. Also, anyone that they refer to Deal Dot Com goes on your second tier. Anything your second tier buys will net you a 15% commission, forever. Not too shabby. |

I have a similar problem. When I edit posts the save button stops working. It clicks, but doesn't do anything. Refreshing the page usually fixes it but it's a PITA.
I wonder if this problem is related? There are tons of posts about this kind of stuff in the wordpress forums. You may want to check there. My guess is it has something to do with wordpress cache but I don't know for sure. I know that wp-cache has given me grief with my categories in the past though. If you're using the folding categories widget, I'd bet that is the problem. That thing is all fucked up lately. |
