Hello hello.
So, I was thinking, would a site filled with affiliate offers work? Running on a wordpress blog. I was thinking: a page with lots of categorys, like: Loan, Insurance, Clothing, magezines, ect ect ect... And in the categorys i would just add a very simple description of the offer, and then a affiliate link. And then I would fill the the posts with lots of related tags. Like more than 100. The tags would get indexed by google right? Would a page like that be against the adsense TOS? (if i add adsense) Do you think it could work? THanks |

Let me ask you a question.
If you stumbled on a site like that, would you be inclined to stay on that page and click on any of those offers, or would you conveniently just click the back button? I think you know what the answer is. Provide useful content for your users. Why do you think Google is the industry leader? Its because they have the BEST interest of the user in mind. The best thing to do is stop trying to make a quick buck off of someone with a shitty plan like this. Find out whats working in whatever niche you select, then reverse engineer what that person has done and make yours unique. Plan your work, and work your plan

Well, I have a high quality clothing affiliate page. Were I send visitors to online clothing stores, based on which brand they are prefering.
Around 70% of the organic visitors from google, comes from ppl seaching for brand names, and finding my page because google has indexed my tags. Like if I have a store that sells levis, i use the wordpress tag levis on the store. Then ppl find my page on google. Like page.com/tag/levis This offcouse, doesnt work on famouse brands, but on less famous brands i actully ranks nr.1 on google (in my country). And have lots of brands that is on the first page. So, i was thinking doing the same, just with lots of affiliate stuf, and lots more tags. Would this work, or would google block my site? Thanks.. And hope you understand my weak english. |

well, if you see it working somewhere else, it can't hurt to try it.
Don't stick up just any offer, make sure its highly targeted to the user. So if your page is about levi's, put some valuable content in there that's useful to the user, and have some offers on there related to Levi's. Don't clutter the entire page with offers.

How many of those sites do you think are making real money? If you want to do things this way - do a install of wordpress mu (even if you don't use the subdomain option) that way each "type" of offer has more targeted keywords in the url, a different template, etc... It will both help with your costs on adsense, and of course enable you to actually convert something. |

Hmm, well i dont know yet if i want to create an page like that. Im just trying to find some ways to create an stable income.
I know a page like that wont make me rich, but im searching for pages to create, that doesnt need to be updated all the time, like my quality sites. Just brainstorming in here, hoping that you would either say: the idea work, or doesnt work. Thanks... And im looking into wp mu, i was thinking it would be overkill to use that, but i think your right. |

But, what I meant to say is if the webpage is cluttered with a million ads, is that really going to convert? Maybe, maybe not. I highly doubt it, but maybe someone can prove me wrong
