I am new and want some starting guidance.
Not sure about IM or AM, which way to go?
Please suggest good learning resouces?
Do you guys also buy books or just read from internet?

oh my...

firstly, at a minimum, plz try reading the forums here first before you ask any more questions... plenty of ideas and direction can be found here if you look around or use the search function...

my advice would be to just jump in and try a few things, pick a niche, buy a few domains, get some hosting, throw some shit at the wall and see if it sticks... and then come back and ask some questions that aren't retarded...

First of all- check your spelling when you post, you don't want to give the impression that you are some dumb fuck who is looking for a free hand out from Wicked Fire members.

Secondly- getting into AM is hard work- there are a shitload of aspects to learn and directions you can take your business. Take potos's advice and read the Stickies in this forum to help you get a grasp of the industry. After that keep reading. Read until blood and puss are dripping out of your nose- and then read a bit more. If you don't like to read you can go fuck yourself.

Third- Not just the guys are rude on this forum. The girls are rude, the moderators are rude, even the questionable genders are rude. How many times a day do you think new members post stupid questions like yours looking for "secrets" and "how to start AM?" Everyone is here to help you- but we aren't going to hold your hand so that you can make enough money to move out of your parent's house. When you need help- ask specifics. We might be affiliate marketers, but we are not mind readers.

This game is about a lot more than just finding the right technique and getting rich. In order to succeed for the long-term one must develop strong discipline and several key skills, that's what this forum will teach you indirectly if you stick around.

Trust me, myself, and most other people have figured that out the hard way. I, like most, used to read about every next best technique (either from and ebook, or one of the multitude of shitty AM/IM forums) and jump around from one to the next like fucking House of Pain. As lucrative as all of those techniques/methods sounded, where did they get me? Nowhere!

So when members see someone new come here and post questions such as "whats the best way to make money", "whats the secret to getting rich", "How should I start AM", etc... They see that naive newbie mentality. The truth is, there are HUNDREDS of approaches you can take many of which can be VERY successful. But none of them have a "secret formula" that you may be looking for, at least the Long-Term ones don't

. The only secret (which is also one of the key skills/ingredients in being successful at AM) that you need to know is simply, learn the basics by reading this forum, and then WORK & BE PERSISTENT!

GET YOUR FAGGOT ASS TO WORK YOU LAZY COCKSUCKING MOTHERFUCKER (thats what you should tell yourself when you have 5 new articles to write for this week/SEO to do/New site to launch/etc.. and somehow find yourself reading and browsing WF when you have more than enough knowledge to success, ask yourself what more are you looking for?)

The thing that sucks for a newbie is they get tossed in so many directions they don't know were to start, they don't know how do the research to choose a good niche, or they spent to much time trying to think of what type product they want to sell (that they think everybody wants) and they spend so much time trying to learn the ropes that they don't take any action. There are a lots of learning curves for a newbie but, you just have to keep on trying and repeatedly failing over and over until you learn from your mistakes! Best thing is to keep trying one thing at a time until you become good at it then move on to the next... Keep at it and you will succeed!
