Newbiealert Will this work? (involves selling clickbank product)

I'm trying to sell the clickbank product "Fitness Model Program" on Bidvertiser. This is what the ad looks like:

I plan on using $35 and setting the bid to $0.05. This will get me 700 clicks.

This is the link
lemons884.fitnessmo1.hop.clickbank.net/

I think the product has a really good sales pitch. I targeted the ad to just the United States.

Will this work?

Only way to find out is by trying it. If we knew for certain if it would work, we'd be banking ourselves. Bidvertiser for me hasn't converted too well in the past, and I don't know if you'll get much clicks with a 0.05 bid in the fitness niche, but learning is how you profit in this game.

Just give it a try. If you can get $.05 clicks then you should be able to make a couple sales on 700 visitors. I am just not sure that you will be able to get $.05 clicks. You can't be afraid to lose money in this industry. Test it and if you do not get any sales and 700 visitors then something is wrong and you need to go back to the drawing board and see where you went wrong, but don't look at it like losing $35, but rather investing $35 for the information obtained from testing.

One question though on clickbank.

suppose the visitor to my clickbank link adds my site to his favorites. and then purchases the product like a week or 2 later when he/she gets the money. Would I still get the sale?

I would suggest playing with multiple ad variations to see which converts best and which gives the highest CTR.

Clickbank tracks your cookies for 30 days, so yes...anytime in the first month you've sent someone there (assuming another affiliate doesn't send them to the site) then you will get commision

Keep us updated on how this goes

Update

Just paid $35 to my Bidvertiser account. The transaction will take 3-4 business days. Once the $35 is in then I can activiate my account.

I really hope this works.....but I decided that $35 is nothing and that theres potential to earn money here.

It looks like that on clickbank. It has a really good sales pitch so I might get lucky. Just think if all 700 visitors buy the product. (138.88*700) lol I would make $97,216.

This won't happen. Ever. You'll be mega lucky to get one sale.

Bidvertiser has shit traffic (for me anyways). But hey, 5c a click, you get what you pay for.

And please tell me that "if all 700 buy, I'll make 6 figs" was a joke. You whipped out your calculator and worked it out, so I don't think it was.

Don't mean to be a dick, I'm jus' tellin you the truth.

It was a joke lmao. I'm hoping for just 1 sale. I'm gonna guess 650 out of those 700 visitors will only look at the page for a second, scroll through it a little, and then exit.

maybe bidvertiser didn't work for you but o well I already made the transfer to my bidvertiser account and can't turn around now. I'm gonna give it a try. If I don't make a sale...o well at least I tried and learned something.

Ouch, you shouldn't waste your time with bidvertiser. Nearly all of their traffic comes from "paid to click" networks AKA 13 year olds without credit cards clicking ads in hopes of making $0.01. Checkout their affinity at quantcast: bidvertiser.com - Quantcast Audience Profile

The funds have been added. My ads just started running. I have a daily budget of $5 out of a total of $35. I am getting $0.05 per click so my clickbank link will get a total of 700 visits. The goal is 1 sale.

I hope so! I'm down $1 so far (20 visitors) and so far no sales. If I get down to about halfway (have like $15 left) and still no sales then maybe I'll get a little worried.

If I fail then I think what I'm gonna do is become an affiliate for the product. The sales pitch is really good and they have lots of stuff for affiliates to use- so I'm gonna give that a try.

Um, why hasn't anybody pointed out the fact that Clickbank has been "broken" for over a month?

Seriously, dude, type in "clickbank sucks' and you'll find tons of recent forum posts.

My tracking at Clickbank both as an affiliate and as a vendor suddenly stopped. So I made ZERO sales for a month. This problem is affecting a lot of accounts at Clickbank. Sure, you'll find the occasional bozo who says, "I'm doing fine !I'm not having any problems!" and they try to make the rest of us who are having problems feel like shit, but then you see how people have been carefully tracking the problems Clickbank is having across thousands of accounts....and all Clickbank does is admit to having had a problem ONE DAY out of 30 and then they tell you it's the economy.

Try promoting products at Paydot.com there's some good stuff there.

I have exactly $28.40 left in my bidvertiser account. (which is weird because I had less earlier? maybe they recredited me from fraud clicks or something)

I paused the ad....this product is not gonna make any sales and I don't wanna waste the rest of it.

What could I use this to make it worthwhile?

So...any suggestions of what I should use the rest of the money for? I think I'm just gonna put it into advertising my PPC account. (the only way I'm making money right now)

I got my learning and studying to do on affiliate marketing. :/

Post your stats. How many impressions, how many clicks, etc..

It's always good to see what you can learn from any advertising campaign, regardless of the cost.

And the thought that it wont be profitable because otherwise 'everyone else would be doing it' is not good at all. There's tons of undiscovered niches, products, landing pages, right combinations thereof. Its easy to get intimidated starting out, but don't fall into that type of thinking.

Well I found out that clickbank didn't work. Now I'm gonna use the money to advertise my website host which has a good affilite program. The ad is currently pending on bidvertiser and I still have $28 so I'll keep updating on how that goes.

The $35 is all gone

I gained no sales, however, I did gain one referral under the affiliate program itself. I'm gonna guess that this affiliate will probably disapper and never make a sale as well (but I could be wrong).

Lesson Learned-
1.) Don't use bidvertiser ads
2.) Input what you think I should have learned here.

o and use your money wisely....

It could have been a lot of factors. First, Bidvertiser isn't exactly quality traffic, so there's one problem. Second, your product might have been in a bad niche, etc..

Third, your keywords could have been bad, your ad copy could have been bad.

Fourth, if you were direct linking, there was no presell. If you weren't direct linking, the landing page might have been unconvincing.

What was your CTR? How many clicks did you get? I'm sure you could still learn something from the information you generated.
