So is it now mandatory that you have an actual landing page to run your PPC through? I remember when the rage was getting a bunch of .info domains and doing redirects. I tried setting up a ppc campaign this morning with my own URL redirected to my Aff site, and my ad was put in disapproval. Must I now use a landing page for all adwords ads? Are all of the ppc networks operating like this?

I did search WF and found some stuff, but nothing answering my particular question. Thanks.

If you don't want to design a landing page, just try iframing:

Don't forget to add a custom title, meta tags and things like that, hope it helps.

And if your using this method you'll see in-active (Oops not anymore) high bids to get 1st page results.

Using an I-Frame does not overcome the algorithm, it actually hurts you even more.

I mean seriously do I-Frames even still exist?

I think you can still use direct linking on Adwords content network.

I've personally used them on the content network a while back with pretty good results and as for search, there are ways to increase your QS (I haven't tested this myself recently so yes, I may be wrong when it comes to search).

With the iframe I've provided as an example (width 100% and height 1000px), there's nothing stopping you from adding content below it. Since the height of the iframe is 1000px, the vast majority of visitors won't even notice that there's something beneath it.

There won't be a lot of work involved when it comes to creating come content, since you can just spin a few articles and there you have it. It's not like most people will read them, since they're placed below the 1000px frame. Add a sitemap, a terms and conditions page, an about page, a privacy policy page and some articles, aside from things like the title tag and you're good to go as far as the on-page stuff is concerned.

Yeah you could do something like this and get away with it, if you just use an Iframe there is no content on the page to pick up on which will result in a bad QS.

I've never had any luck with iframes or redirects.

Last week I put up a 5 page site on a model number domain, copied all the content from other sites....description page, features page, specs page, etc. I started bidding on google for model number specific keywords. I started bidding $.75 to $.85 per click to get on the first page for each keyword. I budgeted $10/day.

Each day, I would drop the max bid on the keywords getting clicks to $.05 and see what google suggested to keep me on page 1. I also set the campaign times to run the ad from 9 AM to midnight each day. I am now down to $.20 to $.15 per click and am showing up in the first and second position for my most popular keywords.

ROI is climbing through the roof! I think I'll stick with building content sites for products. This is the first time I've had an adwords campaign work!
