Mustread ClickBooth & WickedFire Settlement Report

As many of you know, we've been investigating claims made against Clickbooth by a couple of remote parties over a year ago. These claims were made on WickedFire and I immediately took up the cause of these parties and began a campaign against Clickbooth. As always, I come to you guys completely open and baring my inner, honest thoughts. After a year of extensive research in which I have personally spoken to hundreds of people to uncover the truth regarding the circumstances surrounding these claims, I have realized Clickbooth is an honest and trustworthy company that protects affiliates. As you know, I am an "anything it takes kind-of-guy" and with my deep passion for the industry I knew I had to get to the truth in this situation no matter how it would affect me personally.

I'd like to open this post by saying that Clickbooth has been wiped of all bad records and discord from WickedFire.

As a result of our investigation, we've concluded that Clickbooth be removed from our blacklist, its reputation be re-established, and a call to the industry to take notice of allegations towards Clickbooth by the very remote affiliates be deemed as false.

This whole situation began because of a few bad apples and was blown out of proportion. I've personally interviewed these affiliates who made such claims only to find out they did it out of spite or from being egged on by other networks and/or affiliates to jump onto the bandwagon only to be proven wrong. To affiliates who made claims of being owed money that wasn't paid to them, we've acted as a mediation team. In many of the cases, Clickbooth had already made right by the affiliates and paid them by going the extra mile even though there were certain questions on some of the specific traffic tactics. In a number of cases, Clickbooth even went as far as paying out of pocket for traffic that their advertisers did not pay them for. There are very few networks that would do such a noble thing and Clickbooth has proven to be one of them.

With that said, we've closed our thorough investigation into the claims made by a couple of affiliates over the last two years and deem all their claims to be false or misleading in nature.

I demanded full transparency on a number of issues that were put in question. We interviewed many large scale affiliates who have done or currently are doing business with Clickbooth, some in the range of $500k to a million a month.

This report concludes our investigation into ALL claims brought up in countless threads. These claims were deemed to be driven by either false or misleading information and we should NOT hold Clickbooth to the scorn they've received over the last few years.

We're going to work with Clickbooth in re-establishing their good name within the industry and hope that by posting this, other affiliates take notice and re-establish and reinforce their relationship with Clickbooth as well.

I hope people know how serious I am at uncovering truth no matter what it takes and who it affects even if it's me personally. The members of Wickedfire, which includes affiliates, advertisers and networks, should all know and be accountable for their statements and actions. And, since no one else will step up, we will continually band together and be a watchdog for truth on affiliate marketing.
