Question Do you pick the niche, or does the niche pick you?

So I'm gettin into this affiliate marketing thing becasue i want to make bank. I currently belong to CJ and Markethealth. I hate CJ and dont use it, but markethealth is aight. I'm gunna sign up for more affiliates like Neverblue and ads 4 dough though.

anyway, what i'm asking is ... do most of you find a product and say, hey i can sell that shit, or do you think to yourself .. i wanna sell xxxxx and then try to find it?

the way i'm lookin at it, i'm more like the first way, ill see something and say yea i can sell that mofucka, just wanted to see what the consensus was

I generally look for what people want and try to sell them that.

Easier than selling them something they don't want.

DO some research on the niches, find out which one is popular but not too saturated is best.
