Hi folks,

I started a new site, its kind of a free online productivity tool like remember the milk.
How should I promote my project (or in common, every site), here is what I will do:

- SEO
- Social Bookmarks (by Service?)
- contact sites/blogs with my topic and introduce my project? (spam?)
- airship advertising.. no just kidding.

- ... ??

i am selling nothing (yet). It is just a free service like twitter or remember the milk. I want to know how to get people to sign up and use it.

simple question would be: "how to get quality targetet traffic fast for free"

Do ping and Rss submission
Do Build Backlinks and Ping the url that contain your backlinks
Social Networking like facebook,myspace,friendster
and
Social bookmarking like digg,technorati,Stumbleupon
it all helped to get traffic and good backlinks
