I posted in another newbie thread about my limited success over the past two months, and I posted a thread asking about ewhoring. Even though the ewhoring thing is in the 2008 treasure trove, it seems to be a little outdated as a viable method of making money.

With tihs being the case, can some one give me an idea or strategy that I can put in place NOW, and make money - something that is relevant to today IM, and isnt outdated.

You can even PM me if you want, so thousands of other people dont jump on the same idea/strategy. I ask, not as a newbie who never takes action, but one who takes direction and applies what he has been taught.

There has to be one thing, that if it clicks in my head, will make me a WF success story.

How do I make money online is never going to get you anywhere. Pick a niche you hear talked about a lot. Pick a traffic source, not search because it's super competitive and a limited number of spots. Content, Facebook, Myspace, 2nd tier serach engines, and the list goes on as there's about 100 places you can buy traffic at least. Then watch what's working and try and innovate some. Oh and innovate doesn't mean throw something up try it and it doesn't work move to the next thing. Innovate means start with what looks good make some changes, split test copy, and keep trying until you make it work. This is how you learn.

Seriously though, affiliate marketing is an effort you put in now, and reap the rewards later. There's no shortcut to success. Just follow Smaxor's advice. You deffinitely want to do PPC advertising if you want instant results. It might be instant loss at the beginning but just continue testing until something brings you back up. If you want now, now, now, you will only try to hard to get money quick, and not realize what you're doing wrong. Slow & steady man, you can't lose if you don't stop.

I can understand where you're coming from, but believe me when I say the information is out there. If you want really want some "strategies" so to speak, where you get told step-by-step how to to do a certain method, that information is also freely available on the internet.

As you said, some of these "methods" are outdated - that's true. But I've found that a lot of the main priniciples behind these methods still stand true, it's the actual specific application of the method that has dried up.

Let me give you an example, you've said that EWhoring doesn't work for you. Well I've heard at least 2 people in the last few months report back that they are doing pretty well with it, and even shared with me a little of their methods. It's not for me, because it's not my cup of tea, but if you start to think outside of the box a little more you'll get there.
