Noob Alert...bare with me

There crap and a waste of time. I know because I used to use them. Everyone on there is just trying to get there own credits so no one really is gonna look at your site and product.
Don't waste your time. Better off using SEO, linkbuilding, social networking and advertising to get traffic to your website.

I completely agree with lemons - traffic exchanges are a complete waste of time! Seriously, don't waste you're time (or if you are thinking of buying traffic) you're money. If you've got money to spend buy unique content... the more content, the more long tailed terms, the more proper targeted traffic and the more potential consumers to earn you commissions!!!

While I agree that traffic exchanges are a waste of time for most stuff sometimes they can be good for inflating your hits, for example back in the day I made an article on a large directory one of the "top ten" in it's section, which consequently give me links from the bottom of every article in that section to my article. As far as traffic that's worth anything? Nope, move on.

The more work you put into your website the more you will get out of it. If you use link exchanges you will not get any targeted traffic into your website. If you put some effort into it and tried some real traffic strategies you will receive more targeted traffic and more sales.
