So for the past couple campaigns that I ran, I got by without using keyword tracking... I know, extremely stupid on my part. And I know, i got pretty fuckin lucky that i was able to turn a profit.
The other day I got schooled on running a successful campaign, and the dude i was talking to basically said im retarded for not using tracking. So I signed up for tracking 202... But now im lost lol... I dont get the whole sub-id thing, and it seems that whenever I paste the JS into my LP, it distorts the whole LP.... I cant change anything without it fucking up my LP actually. And i dont really mess with HTML soo i dont want to get myself to deep in a hole. Once I get the hang of this T202, I can get started with my new campaign full force. Soo im open to any suggestions or tips about tracking. One more thing... For those of you with experience in T202, does it become easy to use and set-up after a while? |

ok do this,
add your campaigns, networks, adnetworks then, make your text ads with whatever offers you're using and the page it's going too. go get your LP code and take that code and paste it right above the </body> tag in your page and it shouldn't mess up your lp. and if you want to cloak your affiliate links make a new notepad, grab the php redirect code (it should be listed below your lp code in t202). put that in notepad save it as your_product.php. then for your affiliate links on your site have them be <a href = "your_product.php">Acai berry free trial</a>. and yes it gets easier as you do it, i was pretty confused the first time around too but my AM helped me out |

Alrigh I added my campaign, network, and ad network. And also created text ads.
I logged onto my Godaddy account where my LP is being hosted, and I went into index.html and pasted the Javascript inbound trackling link above the </body> tag. I saved the code after I pasted it, and now my LP is Fucked up.... A bunch of the pictures are not even showing. I dont know why it screws up everytime I edit something, so please hit me up with some suggestions.... This T202 is driving me crazy!!! But its 100% necessary so I gotta learn. Thanks guys. |

definitely take a look at the prosper/tracking202 forum. i dont know why adding the tracking202 javascript to your page would change the design. tracking202 is a tiny bit confusing at first but once you get the hang of it its a very simple, but powerful program. its open source so you can create your own cool features if you have the php know how.
