You're best bet for a newbie affiliate is probably CPARev. After that try ROIShare.

One cool website that I like is Commission Junction - A Global Leader in Affiliate Marketing, Online Advertising and Search Engine Marketing. I am not really a heavy duty internet marketer but I know there are A LOT of mainstream companies that use this website and it is easy to get under multiple companies within a matter of days (or less) if you have your own website domain set up professionally (or atleast professional looking).

Gonna cut you a break cos I was once where you are now. There are the respectable networks that everyone knows - these are the ones which will always pay you unless you are doing fraudulent stuff. Then there are newer networks that haven't been around as long so you are more likely to get burned.
Some of the good networks would be: Neverblue, Copeac, Convert2Media, Ads4Dough. The networks mentioned above (CPARev and ROIShare) aren't companies you want to do business with - the post above was a joke. On a side note, I've always wondered what happened to ROIShare. |

Join the big networks first and learn how things work.. get to know your AM really well and start running some campaigns. Working with a big network will let you fuck up a couple times without ruining your name. After a few months you will learn who you like working with. A lot of big marketers end up working with smaller networks run by their friends as they can get the personal attention without the corporate bullshit
