Building iTrader - WickedFire - Affiliate Marketing Forum

I would like to advertise two services on this forum. These are web design and web hosting. I don't want to start posting ads to get flamed because of my iTrader rating. Whats the best way to build up the trust first?

Offering either of these free for the review wouldn't be feasible.

You just need to email Jon (the forum owner) and explain your services. It's pretty rare but for people that provide truly quality services he has hooked them up with some banners in the past and not banned the person for not having a high iTrader rating.

Check this thread out for another guy that got a break and now provides a lot of services to WF members (Jon's contact info is in that thread to)

Almost every designer around here started off with free reviews. Same can be said for hosts, to a lesser degree. If you want to do well here, you'll probably have to rethink what you said.

Normally I respect the no DR in newb forum but come on, this dumb fuck basically indicated he wants paying clients but he doesnt want to work or pay to earn them. If he really had a question then fine but a sense of entitlement needs to be squashed.

1. Nobody gives a shit about itraders except Red_Virus

2. For design - if you have a decent portfolio, people won't expect you to do work for free, but it wouldn't hurt to offer discounts in the beginning.

3. People buy hosting all the time just to spread out their operations, but you will need to be prepared to provide details about your setup. It will also take some time for your uptime numbers to be proven, so don't take on more than you can handle.
