I keep coming up with questions, so I figured I might as well start a journal and ask my questions here as well as post some progress and get other tips.

Anyway, I've obviously been a member here for awhile but I have dealt with the typical procrastination of not wanting to actually jump in head first. Well, now is the time to change that. I have been a member of Neverblue for a while although I've never actually ran any campaigns for them so I figured might as well start there.

I started stupid. PPC direct searches on high end offers. I havent spent much (only about $50) on ppc but realized Im going about this all wrong. So I am switching gears and going with zip/email/number submits.

This brings me to my questions:

1. What, in your experience converts more of the three listed before?

2. On my adwords campaign for the zip submit Im running now it is saying "rarely shown due to low quality score." From what I've read online typically that has to do with keywords relevance. I check on the adwords page and it tells me this: Landing Page Quality: Poor

So I am assuming that this means that the page the link is going too google doesnt like? Is there anything I can do to improve this other then creating a landing page (which I'm going to do in the future but dont want to really waste time doing that on zip submits)

Sorry for the long post, so far Im negative about $70 (adwords, hosting and two domains) but I dont care and know I will turn this around. Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm no expert but have you read this: Newbie Guide | NickyCakes.com . He says that he has NEVER made any money with adwords... Have you tried facebook? HTH

I think the only way to fix that is new LP. I'm guessing you're using the one they provide you and its one page. Google like multiple pages / content. From what I understand low QS will drive up your CPC as well but I'm not 100% on that...People make money on adwords btw. Google something and check out the ads, am's aren't buying them to chuck money away, amirite?

1.) Test, test, test. There are so many variables that you really just need to test your traffic and keywords with each type. What's good for one may not be for the others.

2.) You're gonna have a hell of a time getting a decent quality score on a submit. You'd be better off trying to run those on Bing or Yahoo, and even then its gonna be an uphill battle, at least in my experience. You're quality score depends on many thing. Keyword relevancy and the content on your page being big. Google cares most about user experience. If you're direct linking you're quality score will be shit, nothing you can do about that. The advertisers landing page is way too thin to get anything close to a decent quality score.

You have to be real creative to make a landing page for a submit. Polls are pretty dated and don't do much to please Big G. You're better off looking for a media buy or some kind of CPM traffic to run submits, at least in my opinion. Its hard to get cheap enough clicks to run submits through search.

I was doing email/zip submits thru Copeac, which went well until Copeac no longer allowed incentivized traffic. Since then I have gone with CPALead and will NEVER turn back. By getting your user to fill out a survey to access your content you can make anywhere between $0.05 to $15 each! CPALead has setup a chatroom on there publishers section of the website, where people share techniques, strategies, and sell services much like on wickedfire.

There are users earning upto $10,000 a DAY with there campaigns. The chatroom has a feature where users can have the cpalead server share there earnings with the other chatters.

CPALead common gateways are blogs that share video streams with the visitor for simply filling out a survey. A good example of this is Free Mushroom Cultivation Videos where you can watch video's of how to grow shrooms.

Email submits and zip submits have there place but the surveys are where the real money is at.

Thanks for all the great info. I did stop my google adwords campaign for now. I tried running on microsoft adcenter and had a lot more clicks and impressions BUT still no conversions of the offer I was running. It was a game download deal. Anyway, I started running a couple ads on facebook/myspace. Just started those today so we will see how that goes.

Well Im finally getting some conversions! Im far from profiting but I've made 4.50 on a zip submit offer I have running. This time I was smart and created a landing page on it. While I am far from profit it am EXTREMELY motivated now that I have some money coming in even if it is only a few bucks. I'm going super newb and making polls using WP. Hey, its working and hopefully I can build some income to start working on some new projects. Boobies to come to celebrate once Im off work.

Nice one. For polls you might find this useful: Poll Control - Build high quality search engine friendly polls in a matter of seconds I think I paid for it a long time ago but looks like it's free now. Also, people would prefer the "bewbies" to not be in an attachment, make them viewable in the thread if you want more help from people.

Thanks for the tip, I wont post more. Plus I keep this thread as attachment as I access it from work and dont want to get in trouble.

By the way, I got a coupon for adwords so while technically my campaign is not profitable at least its not digging into my real money. Upto $8.00 in conversions (had to pause for a day due to some issues with my bank). Trying to think of a way to get some more profitable stuff right now Im getting about 3.00/day in conversions but spending about $30. Obviously not doing well but working on it.

Also thanks for the link to that software. I checked it out but I acctually just payed for a simular app but its a wp plugin. Works pretty good and was only 19.95. Ill try the application you suggest to see if it works any better.

don't take these kinds of things as the word of god, because some people are good with different methods than others. Adwords was my platform of choice until they started banning all of my accounts within 3 hours of registration. Then I did the more advanced adwords account methods (new IP, proxy machine, new card #) and still got banned after about a week or so.
