Help Ok, for keyword research
If i'm promoting a local business for maryland only business, should i use keywords that would only be successful with a global keyword.

So, say i'm looking up maryland masonry which gets 1600 local searches, and 1300 global searches

but "maryland buildings" gets No searches locally, but 1600 global searches, so should i use a keyword like that, even though i'm only promoting a local business?

I wouldn't exclude it, but I'd be cautious. People searching for 'Maryland Buildings' are searching for examples of Maryland Architecture not local businesses. You may be throwing away money by wasting clicks / impressions on this crowd.
