Tracking which ppc keywords/ads lead to opt-in - WickedFire - Affiliate Marketing Forum

I want to send ppc traffic to a squeeze page with no affiliate offers, then during my email sequence I will promote the aff product. I use prosper202 to track conversions, but it cannot track opt-ins to my mailing list.

Say that my traffic source is adwords, is there a way to track which keywords and ads are producing the highest opt-ins? (I use aweber btw)

The first thing that comes to mind is having a 'thank you' page with a Tracking202 tracking pixel. That should link signups (opt-ins) with the keyword / ad that brought them to the page.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was just reading about how to setup a tracking pixel today. The only problem I see with this is that I won't be able to track conversions (sales of affiliate product).

well on the page after your squeeze capture page just put the pixel there. Then when you email you can setup a separate campaign in prosper for that as well. That should be fine unless you're leaving information out of your question.
