Douchebag Tracking from multiple ads to conversion

I'm confused on how I track multiple ads going to the same landing page -and then to conversion.

Say I use, adwords, facebook ads, and some banners on websites. These ads all go to a targeted landing page. On the landing page is my affiliate purchase button which I can tag with a unique ID through Avant Link.

The Avant Link reports show impressions, click-throughs, and conversions. But there is an all important gap between my normal webstats and the affiliate tracking reports.

So how the fuk do I tell what ads are converting!!! I'm getting about 10 sales a day but don't know which ad they're coming from.

I have a crazy idea that might help you out: send each ad's traffic to its own landing page! Hell, you can copy and paste the targeted page ten times if that's the way you want to do it.

Or... maybe use a link management system to redirect to the final landing page, with your stats logging page sat in the middle?

And then would I block all but the main landing page in a robots file so they all don't crawled (since they all would be the same)?

For 10 sales a day it might not be worth it for him.

The cheap solution would be lets say your site is Example Web Page

Make 4 pages
www.example.com/1
www.example.com/2
www.example.com/3
www.example.com/4

Each ad should link to a specific page then you can track who goes where.

Hope that helps.

The problem is I sell about 6 products and have a mini-site. And at the top there is a "buy now" link. That buy now page has all the products listed on one page.

So... I can create numerous different landing pages (for each individual product/advertiser), that is no problem.

And on those landing pages I can have an order button for each specific product. But if they use the "buy now" link at the top of the page that goes to one page with all the products listed and screws everything up.

Cliffs:
They can buy the products both from the lander, and also a centralized order page which screws everything up. Because it's easy to ID the lander, but I can't separately ID the central buy now page.

Even though your suggestion is legit, he was talking about using Avant Link statistics.

To elaborate on Netphase's idea.

Tracking202/Prosper202 are the same product, the difference is one of them is hosted on a site you own the other on their site. Having said that it allows you to track all kinds of statistics, bounce rates and can be customized to basically tell you everything you would ever possible want to track.

So if you're using 202, you can have the same offer running on 2 different platforms and going to the same offer page through a direct link, and be able to filter out which site each conversion is coming from through 202's stats.

correct?

This is why everyone swears by it.

My only concern is that now that they have been purchases at some point they might start charging for it.

They already charge for Tracking202 Pro, but Prosper202 is open source.

Clickbooth has taken the source code and released their own version of it called XTracks.

Anybody else can do the same with the source code if Bloosky starts charging for all versions of 202.
