I'm tired of using busted ass Excel spreadsheets and I was going to put together a simple DB, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Does anyone know of any good project management software for webmasters? There are a lot of options for full on project management and then a few for simple domain management, but I want something in between. Something with features like the following would be the ultimate:
- Dashboard showing all websites (projects) and related domain names with some whois scraping integration to list up to date expiration date, name servers, etc. - Ability to add custom fields to each project for notes or sub-projects - To do list by project/website that feeds an overall to do list on the main dashboard. Also, the ability to put recurring tasks into the to do list. - Of course a main dashboard with projects/sites listed by priority - Ability to copy project format to new projects. - Open source? * Does not need any scheduling functionality. Free foot job to someone who can point me to this.

clockingit.com is pretty good.
Takes a bit of getting used to if you've never used real project management software before I'm told, although I found it pretty intuitive considering my experience with MSProject. The only issue is that you can't export it.

I signed up for clockingit and it looks good for some of my larger, more serious projects, but I don't like that everything is hosted on their servers and no export. Not sure what I would do if they decide they can't monetize it well enough to keep the lights on and they close up shop and swallow all my data.
I guess I'll just stick to excel for now.
