Just got into the affiliate world about 4-5 days ago and have experimented a little with google adwords... even made a squidoo blog.

2 basic questions

1. Lets say I am a completely avg at this, ON AVERAGE, how long would you say it would take a person of complete average intelligence and drive to start to see ANY money coming in... lets say 20-50$/day.

2. I have a squidoo blog for starting off.. should I purchase and create my own webpage? or stick with the squidoo blog until I get the hang of things

I think you should stop ALL adwords Campaigns now and start reading this forum and get some knowlege under your belt before you lose your money on ppc

I think you should stop ALL adwords Campaigns now and start reading this forum and get some knowlege under your belt before you lose your money on ppc

And the best thing you can do is something... Learn how to drive traffic to your squidoo blog and research a niche you want to market in and build your first website.

You will need a domain. Namecheap to register, and *shameless plug* check out my sig for hosting.

That should get you started.

for $20-50/day would take about 200 years with the shit that you're trying to do...Dont start advertising right after you make it...thats freakin retarded...build up the site a little first. even if people click on the ads to your site they will think that its shit and just leave the site, with you ending up with wasted money on ppc that got you nothing in the end

SEO = Broke Money

Not scalable enough, too much competition and too much work. I still have a bunch of old SEO sites that pay for all my living expenses & more - but it's just not what it used to be.
