````` has a spectacular aura about
Fuckyeah `````'s Journal - Makingmoniesonline!
Well... Why did I make this thread?
I see affiliate marketing as an escape from the rat race.
An exit from the 9 to 5 shit that my mates have to put up with.
I am a beginner at marketing - never made a sale, never ran a campaign.
But... I do have persistence. I know the only way that I am going to succeed at this game is to have the words "Just Fucking Do It" running through my head at all times.
I don't want Wickedfire to feed me from a silver spoon.
However, I would appreciate any suggestion you have to offer. Right now - I have an empty mind that needs to be filled.
And with that - Wish me luck!
Tomorrow - I choose an offer from A4D that I want to sell. I'll see if I can find a free AdWords or MSNadCenter coupon to work with. (If you have any extra vouchers gathering dust - I would be extremely grateful if I could use them.)
Cheers!
I gave SEO Mike rep with "their tildes" as my comment. I must be drunk because they're not tildes. They're tickmarks/prime marks...
but +rep anyway. Why the fuck did this guy choose `````` as his name.
"I have an empty mind that needs to be filled"
Before you jump in and pick an offer first, make sure you read more of the guides and threads here if you haven't already. talk to your AM, talk to people about it, doesn't hurt to learn more
LOL! Much better mood this morning!
Okay, first things first...no mods can edit your username. Only the admins. Contact Stanley and maybe he'll do it. Most likely you'll be told to just create a new account.
Next thing on the list...do your research before you spend any money on advertising. If you find a product you like:
1. Talk to your AM and see if that offer has a good history, and if they can suggest any methods of promotion.
2. Find out what kind of demographic could use it.
3. Find someplace to advertise it
Do as much research as you can on the offer / product before spending money promoting it. Oh, did I say that already? Must be important
Thanks for the good info SEO Mike & papajohn.
Making a new account seems to be the best idea.
You can swing the ban hammer on this account.
Sounds good!
My affiliate manger recommended singlesnet as a good offer. He suggested that I target middle-aged men in large cities w/ pictures of nice looking women.
With that information and the help from WF's stickies, I believe I am ready to start testing!
NoTildes would have been funnier.
Also half the people on the forum wouldn't get it.
Alright - Google approved my ads!
Based off my AM's info - Ima use Adwords to put some "suggestive" ads on websites about World of Warcraft.
WOW's players are lonely middle-aged men - a good demographic for me to target.
If all goes well - I can scale the crap out of the ads and jam them down the throats of every MMORPG player.
Let's see if this works!
Decent plan but here's a really good heads up - don't take it the wrong way.
Be prepared for this to backfire. Some things that would seem DAMN obvious, just don't work.
All I'm saying is test, test and test some more before you attempt to scale ANYTHING.
