Newbiealert BackLink Analyzation Question
I posted this question in a previous section and thought it may be better suited here.

Why does Site Explorer show only some of my backlinks, yet SEO Quake shows that I have 5X as many?(mostly social bookmarking links) This is a relatively new domain (someone let it expire, and I picked it up). Does it take a while for Site Explorer to include these links?

No tool or search engine would show all of the links. If they do then It would be easier for us to guess their algo. Yahoo Site Explorer shows the most while Google shows the least. SEO Quake is probably getting its data from more than one source, which is why its results don't match Site Explorer results.

I think yahoo site explorer looks at bing while SEO Quake looks at all the search engines.But I usually use backlink watch since it shows even the the anchored keyword.
