Newb Question
Is running a test (ad campaign) the only way to determine what works better for your particular business niche. Identical ad on two platforms or do some of you have better conversations with one ad vehichle over the other? There are many different variables depending on the cpc network and cpm site. Any insights would be greatly appreciated just launching a new site. www.newdatinglife.com and it needs quite a bit of work =) |

There are essentially infinite ways you can test. Here are a few:
- same ad / different traffic sources (Yes - some traffic sources convert better than others) - different ad / same traffic source - different ad / different traffic - time of day ads are run - landing page design (layout, color, offer placement, etc.) - landing page copy - offers If you can, change one variable at a time, while holding the others constant. |

You'd have enough metrics about your traffic to choose the right monetization strategy. They are 2 different whole worlds, and choosing CPC or CPM will affect the page layout. You have to plan an A/B split testing only when you have started your strategy and not to choose the strategy. |
