What it is, is that I have started up a new site (won't mention it, unless someone asks for it). It's been going for 5 - 6 months, it's in a highly competitive market, but it is still pulling in members. So I have just switched it round now to have paid subscriptions for certain members, whilst other members will have free access (you can probably guess what type of site is by now).
What I wanted to know is that I now want to take on affiliates, and I want to make things as easy as possible for them, so what materials, resources, etc should I get ready for them, I mean banners is a no brainer. But is there anything else that you look for to seal the deal or make the afil's job smoother etc. Plus I was going to offer 75% commission upto the end of the year, I was thinking of trying to pull in traffic and awareness mainly. Flame away if you want, I am here to learn. So I don't mind a good bashing to get it into my thick skull. |

Although you didn't quote your site url here but I am going to
to lend a helping hand as much as I can. If you are really desirous of incorporating an affiliate feature into your site.I will be best to equip your affiliates with all the necessary marketing tools that will make the job easier for them And that includes banner ads but due to the present trends. I believe that only a flash banner will work.Forget about including banners if its not a flash banner. Other stuffs that you should give them should include the following: 1. 5-10 articles to be posted at articles directories with customized bio boxes also done by you. 2. 5-10 email signatures and forum signatures 3.5 or more auto-responder series The bottom line is that you should be creative, put yourself in their place and supply them as much marketing materials and training as you would want to be given to effectively market a product or service. |
