Hello everyone,

I've been lurking on WickedFire for a while now, figured it was time to finally sign up and interact. I work a job that I don't really like, and that also hurts physically, but has been pretty good money. I'd like to change that to doing things on the internet, because ever since I got my first computer, I"ve loved doing all sorts of things on them. (back in the "old" days with 2400 baud modems and Bulliten Board Systems!)

Anyways, my screen name reflects the fact that not having a job, and having my own websites and IM would give me a zen like freedom to my life. (at least, I can do things on my own terms, not be "locked down" like at work, where sometimes if I have to go to the bathroom, I have to hold it for 2 hours before I have an opportunity to go. )

I look forward to learning!

I'm Hopper and I'm new to WickedFire (Obviously or I wouldn't be posting this here!!), it would appear that at the tender age of 43 I'm an 'Old Git' compared to many on here.

I run a web site dedicated to Tenerife (one of the Canary Islands) as well as other sites and also own many domains that I will eventually get around to developing some day.

I'm here to listen and learn and maybe just help a bit with a little of the experiences I have had along the way.
