Ok guys, You know what Yahoo Buzz is. You know what it does. If you don't, here's a few tips:

Product Advertising

Contest Announcements

The list goes on and on. Well, I'm here to offer a new service, since my Super mininet isn't going to be ready until Friday.

What Do I have to offer?

Yahoo Buzzes.

Specifications:

1,500+ yahoo accounts, aged and new, profile pictures, comments on topic, etc.
100% Manual
We can do a total of 900 buzzes per day (for now!) We're going to start off slow until Tuesday, so we will take only 3 orders per day until Tueday, then bump it up to 5 orders (1,500 buzzes per day).

Pricing: Cheap as hell.

300 buzzes: $60
400 buzzes: $90
500 buzzes: (Starting Tuesday, Oct. 16th) - $120

We don't do anything less than that. Why? Because we want you to get to the front page of Yahoo Buzz.

What we Don't accept: Porn, anything illegal, spammy content. It's up to you to provide us the content and as you know, if it's good, it'll stick on the front page, and it'll receive major traffic.

Review Copy has been given to Guerilla. His campaign will be running at 9:00 AM EST tomorrow. He will post his review after it's done. We will give out one more free review copy to a respected member or Mod, whoever comes first. (bofu2u, where you at bro?)

If you have less than 200 posts and 2 itraders, please don't ask for the free review. It's for reputed members only.

Just wanted to chime in here and give all you PPC/Affilliate guys a heads up on what this service is doing to my site:

DeShea started this service for 300 buzzes this morning at about 9am EST. As I am typing this, I have 332 visitors live on my site right NOW, 891 in the last 15 minutes, and 1422 in the last 2 hours.

My site isnt Affilliate, but if it was...wow!

Very cool....AND he's only half way thru the 300 "Buzzes" I ordered.

Service was as advertised, onthewayup went above and beyond to promote my content. We actually ran two campaigns, but the one running today wasn't as impressive as the first, I think because it was the fact Yahoo had tons of their own stuff queued up to run in my category on the holiday, and so I was competing against globally syndicated content on the parent network.

Color me impressed. I have talked to onthewayup about different markets for this service, and I have to admit, this will be a powerful service for commercial holidays, seasonal shopping, and sporting events. If you have the right offer and good content, Yahoo Buzz can drive substantial traffic to your site.

Think New Years Eve.
Think Valentine's Day.
Think Black Friday ...

I've already given one referral for onthewayup and this sort of marketing.

Two opposable guerilla thumbs up!

Note, you can't just throw any old thing in here. You really need a solid landing page/content and a converting offer or product. This is not a backlink service, this is social buzz, and content is king.

Had a few thousand hits to the site ..... check
Had multiple orders from the traffic ..... check
Constant updates and reports ..... check

Not sure what else can be expected, his service goes above and beyond what's expected and the results were much more than expected. Future orders have already been placed.

Only thing I would change - due to timezone differences he can only do these buzzes during the morning and therefore can't really target the after-work crowd (unless your buzzes stay up due to natural interest) . However, he tells me starting next week he says they will be able to target later times - YMMV

Hi,

I got a free review of OTWU’s Yahoo Buzz service.

I was “placed” in the morning hours, and for a brief period of time the buzz entry did hit the front page of Yahoo Buzz. It didn’t last long, but during that time there was a substantial traffic spike to the site that was tagged…….about 30% higher than normal.

The buzz entry was also on the hot list under the submitted category for several hours.

This is a very interesting service that does deliver traffic. The next time I do something like this, I’d likely craft a specific informational landing page specifically for this promotion, in order to tune up the buzz-worthiness. You don’t want to be simply pointing to a page on your site – and I can also see that you don’t want to point at your home page, due to the nature of Yahoo Buzz.

If you’re going to use this service, take some time to craft a Yahoo Buzz-specific page on your site for it, so you can funnel traffic and add conversion elements (depending on what your ultimate goal is…….retail, affiliate, or other).

I was very happy with the placement of the buzz – OTWU delivered as promised, kept in good communication (kept me updated on placement and front page presence).

Very pleased with the service and highly recommended (but just be sure to keep the thoughts above in mind before blasting away with this).
