Still though: ShovelheadMotorcycle.com ShovelheadMotorcycles.com PanheadMotorcycle.com The Panhead was the iconic postwar Harley V-Twin engine that was a staple of some of the classic bikes of the 1950s and 60s biker movies. The Shovelhead was its replacement, introduced in 1966 and run until 1984 (when it was replaced with the Blockhead. And, if it happens to come up on trivia night -- the Panhead replaced the Knucklehead.) To answer the most immediately-obvious concern: Despite their popularity, commonality of use, and even being used on history sections of the Harley site, the terms Panhead and Shovelhead are not official and are not trademarked by HD (see here and here, respectively.) So these names are not a WIPO filing waiting to happen. They are perfect for a fansite, eBay or other affiliate feed; for bikes, parts, memorabilia, etc. Estibot appraisal for the domains ShovelheadMotorcycle.com, ShovelheadMotorcycles.com, and PanheadMotorcycle.com are $300, $120 and $420 respectively -- a combined appraisal price of $840 AdWords CPC for the phrases "shovelhead motorcycle" and "panhead motorcycle" are $1.68 and $1.16 respectively.
