I'm looking for somebody to download some pictures from a site I provide remove the watermark at the bottom of the picture (it's just a thin strip at the bottom and doesn't actually appear on the photo. There may be some way of removing it automatically), then upload them to my own site and put them into relevant categories (the categories are also just stolen from the site I provide). Bonus points if you can add my watermark as well.

It would also be good if you/your team can write a short description outlining who is in the photos (you generally just need to remember the same few people and it's ok if you don't recognize them as long as they don't always appear) and what they are wearing.


I'd say there is about 10,000 pictures in total that I'd like, split over about 1,000-2,000 categories (well each category will actually be a blogpost).

Please send me your quotes, payment will be upon completion, but I can pay you every 500 photos or so to put your mind at ease.

Also, I don't want to hear anything about this being unethical. a). I don't give a shit and b). they don't own or have permission to use these pictures in the first place.

Also if you have access to gettyimages, you could download them from there (as long as it doesn't come with the gettyimages watermark).

what type of gallery are you using or are the categories just based on what folder they're in on your server?

All done using wordpress and the wordpress gallery, although I'd be open to the idea of using something else but I've found it much easier to manage this way.

The categories will be something like this:

Public appearances
(Sub category > 2011)

And then the post title will just be something like ZXY Celebrity Attends The 2011 Academy Awards.

Then the images.

Then a short description such as:

Gallery Description: This set contains XX photos of ZXY celebrity when she attended the 2011 acamdey awards. She is wearing a stunning blue dress.


So in total there will be 10 categories, about 25-30 sub categories and then about 2,000 posts with 10,000 or so pictures.

dude its not hard to code as long as like u said the images have the same sized banner that needs to be removed... it's just iv'e got other shit i'm busy with to try and remember how to do that + then on top of that the proper way to make sure they retain the same category structure on upload.

My advice - go to fiverr.... you'll find someone for sure

Most of the tasks can be automated. I'm not entirely sure on the watermark removal--send me a few sample pics and I'll let you know. And yes, it can add your watermarks to the 10k pics.
