EMD FINDER

I've somehow never heard of this sick tool until today...

The interface is clean and simple. It isn't the prettiest tool(graphs are apparently on the way), but it's HIGHLY functional.

I'm mostly attracted to the ranking tracker which is stupidly easy to setup and monitor, though it would be nice to have a ranking history so you can track progress. Again, might be rolling out with the aforementioned graphs?

The keyword research and EMD finder are also likely to save me a shit ton of time, now that I don't have to manually search for exact match domains. Domains falsely show up as available from time to time, but I've yet to find a domain tool that is immune to this.

The competitive research tool grabs the top 10 results from google, and tells you how difficult it will be to rank based on their own algorithm. More importantly, it provides you with the number of incoming links. You aren't going to know everything there is to know about your competition from this particular feature, but is great for getting a quick look of what you're up against.

Overall, this is quite the bad ass tool, and the rank tracker alone is worthy of a subscription.

Nice collection of core tools any effective SEO'er would need.

I've found the keyword tool to be most useful with the advantage to see search demand and TLD availability of multiple related keywords. Using this feature along with the keyword competition module is also great to help you ultimately find high search volume keywords with EMD domains that are also low SE competition.

^-This formula alone can give even the biggest of newbs the potential to make $xx,xxx monthly with relatively little work.

I'm a little confused.

If I check "dog training", lots of stuff comes up but NOT dog training itself!
Is this intended? I would have thought the seed keyword would be shown as well!

@Zandor - The list itself may not have returned "dog training" because it didn't fit inside of your criteria. Does that make sense? Generally the seed keyword is, only if it fits inside of your parameters. For instance, if you search "pink shoes" and you set minimum searches to 2,000 and maximum to 5,000 but "pink shoes" gets 8,000, it would not show in the list.

Hmm.. I just tried Dog Training broad match with no filters other than word length set to default.

The closest match I got was "dogs training".
There's still no dog training.

Can you give it a try?

@Zandor - What is your minimum searches and maximum searches set to?

The default. 0-999999. Min words: 0. Broad match.

I've used other keywords that have searches within both limits, and yet have them not appear, but all the variations do appear.

When I check "blue widgets", it is not listed with the searches. BUT it lists "blue widget" without the "s". Again, a variation.

@Zandor - It's because "dog training" falls outside of the parameters. It gets 1,000,000 searches globally and you have it set maximum to 999,999.

No idea why "blue widget" doesn't appear. The data comes directly from Google.

We are in the process of adding a brand new section for doing real keyword research (not finding exact match domains). We could use any and all insights/help into how to make this the best possible keyword research tool around using data from Google.

FYI, I'm located in Australia and when I set the country to the USA I end up with local results sometimes. Aside from that minor issue the tool is great.

I'd just like to reiterate how great this tool is. 3 days ago for example, I did some searches, ending up with 25 .infos (other extensions were available, but I went for .info since they're cheapest.) which were all EMDs for terms with over 3000 searches a month (some over 10000/20000) with CPCs of over $1, and existing affiliate products were available with a payout of around $50 per trial/sale. Fucking awesome.

So after one day of using this already found a couple of nice domains (after taking the OP's advice on how to get better results).

Rebuilding some penalized sites and this is going to be very handy for creating some sub niche domains based off my existing data.

Also found one emd 12k exact that has a perfectly matched offer that pays out $100 that I never would have even come across with my usual methods.

@AdHustler - 500 searches with the Domain Tool, 250 searches with the Keyword Tool. These may change in the future. We're always analyzing usage on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and then optimizing based on that data to keep prices low and yet provide the most optimal # of searches.

In a way I'm glad it's limited to 500 otherwise I might not ever get work done and just hunt for domains.

Just found another really good one last nite, 12k exact/50k phrase $10cpc (with related longtails going up to $20) on term I deffinitely didnt expect to find available in one of the biggest niches out there.

Yea the ones I picked up did. Usually I dont do hyphens but in these niches you're just not going to find these domains without and if you did they'd probably be going for 4-5 figures. And even getting the hypen ones can be tough.

For instance there is an auction on Godaddy right now for a non hyphen 4 word phrase at $5000. One of the domains I got is the 3 word one (more of the root phrase without an 'extra' word at the end). I'm sure the 3 word non hypen one would go for even mid 5 figures.

Another one I picked up if you look on godaddy similar non hyphen ones are going for $5000 as well.

And a 3rd one I got there is a 3 word phrase version going for $6000 right now but the one I got is 2.

Of course those prices can be somewhat arbitrary and inflated but just saying...

Although they dont quite have the same EMD bonus theyre still a very nice find and I've seen them rank highly if not #1 for some tough phrases.

And due to the phrases themselves the dashes don't look spammy at all, if anything it helps make them a bit more readable.

That being said I did find some high volume non hyphens but in niches with lower cpc and commerical nature.

whats up with this after about 4 or 5 searches it keeps locking up and just going round and round to the point I have to quit and start over but does not even log me back in?
I tried to clean up cookies then start again gave me about 1 or 2 more searches and back to the same game what this BS about. I understand setting up a minimum of about 500 searches a month but I only use this a bit at a time and have about 480 search left on the last day of the month and getting this BS. Plus another complaint I talked since the start about getting more than just 50 returns and was told that more would be added but months later and still limited to 50 returns at a time.

So am I going to get a credit for not being able to use my left over searches I have about 480 left and its not letting me search more than a few times day?

The engineering team found that a few of our API's broke! Well, not broke, but were not functioning properly and we should have this resolved today. They're working with the API providers to get this fixed.

I was out all weekend with my new girlfriend, sorry for the delay, I thought I posted last week that the problems were fixed, but apparently not.

All issues have been resolved including the problem where it would stall on 4 or 5 searches.

I'm having the same issue. After a couple of searches, it locks up and after logging out the site just keeps timing out when trying to log back in.

@owenw - When was the last time you encountered this issue? I would suggest logging out, clearing your cache, and then logging back in and trying it. If this does not resolve your issue, please email: [email protected] and our support team will get you taken care of right away!

We applied our previous temporary fix for the stalling issue and just now I spoke to one of the engineers and we should have a permanent solution in place. come on guy keep getting the same problems comming back after they get fixed. I Had the problem of getting stuck after a few searches way too many times. Then got fixed not sure really cause I only stopped searching about a dozen times that time did not need to use after that so stopped. Came back later few days later got the same problem and never got the refund was told that I would get for that month cause only was able to use a few dozen times the last month. This month used it only a few dozen times and now open it up and told I reached my monthly limit I was getting this a few months ago and I did log out and log in and nothing. Way too many problems with this since I signed up months ago only been able to use this less than 100 or 200 times in over 4 or 5 months. Also what about the 50 search result limit still waiting for news if you will increase at least to 100 returns per search.

@alc - We apologize for the problems you've been experiencing. The truth is that PositionSniper is online and operational 99% of the time. Unfortunately, you've been the lucky one to hit it during times of problems or errors. I am not going to lie, we are a web-based software company and from time to time, we have issues. Even Facebook and YouTube go down at times.

For this, we apologize. We are not trying to minimize the issues or your frustration with them.

If you want a refund, all you have to do is submit the request to [email protected] --- just include your username, password, and email and we'll get it processed right away.

I've talked about the 50 results limit and said that at this time we cannot increase that from 50 to 100. It would literally double the resource demands and it's just the way it is. If you want better results with that tool, you'll need to use the filters more and that can help you get much better results. I am more than happy to jump on Skype and answer any questions you may have or help you get the full potential!

Again, we are deeply sorry about the problems. But, that being said, it's to be expected. Our team is working a lot of hours to make sure things are working properly and that we can provide the best uptime we can.
