Hi,

Can you take an existing company's logo/mascot (that I have rights to) and draw them in different poses?

Mascot design cannot be changed - but they can be posed differently......

For example, could you take Bugs Bunny (an existing character/design) and have him riding a motorcycle, or typing on a computer?

If yes, what would you charge for this?

And what graphics format do you deliver in?

Sorry, forgot to mention. I usually deliver in PSD, PDF, PNG, JPEG or whatever is required. I keep stuff above 300 dpi so it can be used for print. I can also do vectors when appropriate. Or larger sizes if you're printing billboards or something.

Hi,

Note: I paid full price for this service. This is NOT a free review.

While he is brand new to WickedFire, after seeing AlexKTD's excellent samples above, I was compelled to give him a try.

My job for him was a little different, as I had an existing private branded character illustration that needed to be posed in a different way. So he had to take an existing "character" and not change its "look", re-pose it, put different clothes on it, and put it in a different environment.

I gave him some graphics examples that I found on Google that gave him an idea of what I was looking for in terms of graphic elements.

The result was outstanding!

Here's a brief summary:


Quality - Very high. He captured the essence of the character, and established the new elements in a very creative way. Very, very impressed.

His first draft was about 90% there. I had about 4 or 5 minor alterations that I wanted done, and he tackled them quickly and effectively.


Timing - Turnaround for the first draft was about 2 days - also very impressive considering he had to start from scratch (but with an existing character). The alterations took no more than a day or so.


Communication - Excellent. AlexKTD kept in touch through the whole process. Friendly, professional - very satisfied.


Pricing - This is higher end stuff. If you're looking for a $5 logo, AlexKTD is not your guy. However, if you're in need of higher end, highly professional work, he is your man. I mean, just look at his samples above, ok?


In summary, I am very pleased. I'll definitely be going back to him when I need more illustration work.

Only suggestion? Place your thread in the Design & Development area of the BST forum........you'll get more design-centric eyeballs there, and the threads don't get pushed down as rapidly.
