Yellabot allows you to scrape the exact results of anything you are able to search for from within the Yellow Pages site itself. In other words, YellaBot has a fast built-in browser. So, you can navigate the YP site from within YellaBot as you could if you were on the YP site directly in your own browser.

So, just consider, if you are able to use the YP site search functions to find a desired set of results, then you can scrape that data.

For example, imagine you want to scrape only restaurants in San Francisco that offer coupons, or just all restaurants with a 5-Star rating, for example, you can easily do that in most cases by using the built in search functions to drill down to the desired results and then hitting the 'begin extraction' button once you find the results you're looking for.

If the YP site had (or, if they do have) an option for searching only for "paid" listings, then you can perform your search, and once you're on the results page, go ahead and hit 'begin extraction' and only that data will be extracted.

Unfortunately, I don't think most YP sites offer the ability to search only for paid listings therefore this is a long scenic way around to the direct answer to your question which is, 'probably not'

Sent a PM to the OP, as I previously had a license and purchased the "lifetime" upgrade from the previous owners of the software. They went MIA with no announcement, so I thought this was dead in the water.

Pleasantly surprised to see a very fast response with a link to DL the newer version. Great communication and well the program does what it does, scrapes the YP's. Very efficient, seems to be better then the other options out there. I'm not a heavy user, just need to get some business data once it a while, but it helps with the automation.

(2) Feature Requests: A queue system. I tried to get the old owners to implement it back in the day, never heard a response. Would be a HUGE timesaver. For example, say I need a list of "plumbers" and I gotta do this for 75 city,state combos. As of now, gotta do it one by one. Would be some much easier to input a list of my queries I need, then let the software run through them and extract.

Also some sort of time delay setting or random time delay ex: (1sec-30sec) between each page scrape. I know we can use proxies, but the process of finding vaild ones is tedious, then having to input them in the software. As of now, the software goes very fast through each results page, would love to have the option to have it appear more "human" like queries, not bots which I know they can easily detect.

Appreciate whatever you can do, look forward to the updates.

@Dave_FM re Feature Requests... I'll take a look at the requirements to make those feature requests happen. I'm guessing it can be done. But, a couple concerns come to mind. I'll get back to you on that soon.

On another note, to anyone on the fence about grabbing your copy of Yellabot, I just wanted to say, we are currently selling the HELL out of YellaBot at $97 per copy, day-in, day-out

In fact, YellaBot is endorsed by Armand Morin and a few other big name gurus who have bought and found it to be very valuable to them.

Not saying you have to get a copy. That's totally up to you. I just wanted to take a second to point out that the current deal is not available anywhere but here and once the WF offer expires, there will never be another offer like this.

So, even if you don't need a tool like this right now but you think you might someday in the future, you might consider grabbing yourself a copy now while the price is still low.

@Dave_FM Re; Feature Requests.

It looks like both features can be done. The time delay is easy enough. The queue system is a lot more complicated.

First of all, it's pretty difficult, time consuming and costly to implement. Secondly, I don't want every user pounding YP or we may end up triggering some counter measures by YP sites.

IE., right now, each user is required to do one search at a time. Because of the amount of time/work it takes to do a project like that, it keeps the average person from going apeshit and overdoing things when they don't really even have a need to.

I imagine hundreds of people dropping in a list of 100's if not 1000's of terms and totally going overboard and then probably not even using the results.

So, to keep things under control, I'd need to make it a Power User feature and charge more for that version of the script to keep some sort of reigns on things.

I'm guessing at least double the current price. I can implement this feature nicely though and you're right, it would be an incredible time saver for power users who actually intend on building large directories.

We haven't made up our minds yet but if there is any interest, I think we can make this happen.
