After 3.5 years of running ZenSix, I've found my sweet spot when it comes to how many clients I can handle before I have to hire new support agents and buy more servers. I don't like hiring new support agents or buying new servers. It's a pain in the ass.

So... I'm going back to a system that ZenSix has used in the past: The Waiting List. I currently have one empty server (and a few spots on other servers) and when that's full, I'll close the doors to the public (for VPS ordering). Questions:

Are these managed or unmanaged?

These are UNmanaged VPS plans. That means you are responsible for everything. We make sure the hardware and node keep running, you take care of everything else.

Do you offer cPanel or DirectAdmin?

No, if you want either of those you'll have to purchase your own license elsewhere and install it yourself. We do offer a free admin panel called BoxCtrl and will install that for you if you wish (you must use CentOS 32-bit).

Do you offer Windows?

No. Linux only, and by default you are setup with CentOS. There are other Linux distros you can install yourself from within the VPS control panel.

Can I run a scraper, proxy, IRC, torrent, send bulk email, etc...?

No.

Where are your servers located?

You'll either end up on a server located in Kansas City, Missouri or Albany, New York.

Can I upgrade later?

No. Due to the nature of this promotion (and the fact that I'm not going to oversell a server), you will not be able to upgrade the RAM or Bandwidth until your first year of service is up and the promotion has ended.

Why are you going to make ZenSix private? Shouldn't a business want to grow and expand?

I hit my goal of living comfortably and working from home a long time ago. If I let ZenSix continue to grow I would be trading money for time and stress. I have no desire to own a giant hosting company with hundreds of employees. Like I said, this is my sweet spot and I want to stay here.

Can I add IP addresses (different C-Class)?

IPs are issued from the current block that we have available and not broken up until that block is depleted, so no. Also, anything over a total of 3 IPs has to have a justification form filled out.
