I am pretty much a nub about hosting I got a reseller acct with gatorhost. I would like to try your 1gb VPS. Would you handle all stuff like installing scripts for me? I would want you to install my Magic Submitter and a good proxy switcher would you take care of all that for me? I am still thinking about getting this not sure for now if I need it, let me know if you can do the above.

If you think you'll be using ~5 GB, I'd recommend going with a VPS (people who want to avoid techy stuff can choose one of the cPanel VPS plans) but if you're 100% sure that shared hosting is the way to go, let me know how much storage you need and how much you'd be comfortable paying. If you want to use a different control panel, let us know and we'll help you out. There are basically two options:

1) choose a VPS without cPanel (10 bucks/month for a 1 GB RAM one or 25 bucks/month for a 3 GB RAM one) and install the appropriate control panel yourself (we'll manage the VPS for ya)

2) choose a VPS without cPanel (10 bucks/month for a 1 GB RAM one or 25 bucks/month for a 3 GB RAM one) and let us know which control panel you want to use by submitting a support ticket. All you need to do is send us the license fees via PayPal (we'll create an invoice for you), then we'll install everything and manage the VPS
