Just so you don't misunderstand me: I'm not saying your service is shit. I have nothing to prove that theory one way or the other. All I'm saying is it is suspect in my mind. SEO site analyses (plural of analysis) should be fairly in depth, take a fair deal of time, and as such should be priced accordingly. If I only charged $8.95 for mine, I'd be making less than a $1 per hour. That's all I'm saying.

OK, I've had time to go through the report now and read it all.

I had it run against one of my blogs that was ranked #4 in Google for my search term. The top spots above me are a web page and a forum.

As for the search engine optimization report. I'm not sure that it really can be applied much to a blog. Some of the items were useful in knowing but some don't seem applicable to a blog. It kept dinging me for over keyword usage as it was run against the front page where each post title had the keyword in it. The comparison information was good so that I could see what the competitors were doing with their keywords. I can't honestly say I saw anything in this report that will have me changing anything in my site other than the title on my front page is overcapitalized. I think it's probably more useful to someone who's trying to rank a single page than trying to rank the portal to multiple pages.

As for the linking report. That one was the one that I liked the best. And received the most information from. Knowing who had links where and titles of the links and keywords, etc. I did gain quite a bit of information from this report that I had not thought of before. I'll be running through it a couple times again to see what I pick up from it. This report alone would be worth a couple bucks to me.

Overall I think if you've got one of your main sites that you are serious about and having some trouble getting it up in the rankings this report could help you out. While there are some rules/tests that seem to be hard coded the meat of the report is done by analyzing what your competitors are doing and how the are structured versus what you have. Which to me seems like the best method seeing as how the Google formula isn't published.
