International trade is one of the hottest sectors of the new millennium. But this is not new. Think of Marco Polo. Think the great caravans of the biblical era with their cargoes of silks and spices. Think even prehistoric man trading shells and salt with distant tribes. Trade exists because one group or country has a supply of goods or goods that are in demand by another.
