OK, so how long do i have to use these 5 IPs, if i dont have 5 domains to transfer right now, or is that required in the order process

Also, what do we get in the way of a control panel - just WP admin? Or ftp access etc.

Lastly, i signed up for a free starter VPS from one of your promos last year, everything went through but the email didnt contain log in info, and i couldnt get hold of anyone, including you via PM.
I know this is free, so im not complaining in the slightest, but what is your preferred contact method if something similar happens?

This offer is geared to webmasters who have multiple websites, hence the 5 dedicated IP's and 5 blogs. Most webmasters have a ton of different types of sites where they could use something like this. Especially in their A-B-C linking strategies. One more place with some different C class IP's at little to no cost helps them with linking. In short, you would want to have 5 domains, and set up 5 blogs. Even if you are not using all of them immediately.

Any tech support would need to go through the support ticket system. I am rarely on IM anymore, and it would not be a good way to contact me in regard to a support issue. The best way to get an issue handled is through the ticket system. At least then it is tracked, and can be flagged to the right person(s).

As for FTP access, or special needs, you would submit a support ticket to ask/accomplish those things many do not need or ask for. I am not saying we can't so some of those things, but most simply have not routinely asked for in that regard, meaning we do not openly promote it. Any other pre-sale questions you can shoot to us via the link in the O.P. and someone can better answer any other questions more timely. I do not always check all of the forums throughout the day.

My concern is that the idea of a setup fee seems incomplete. It appears as if there are some hidden charges somewhere.

Our apologies you feel this way, however, there are no hidden fees on this promotion. You are paying on one time set up fee, and after that, there is no monthly recurring for as long as you keep your account active, and use your assigned IPs (i.e. grandfathered). There are no floating ads or anything like that either.

This offer is good for the month of Jan. only as it stands right now. While this offer, or configuration, may come back in later months, there would be most likely be a monthly recurring charge for those sign ups. If you would like us to charge you a monthly recurring fee, then let us know and I will charge you upon sign up if it makes you feel more comfortable.

This all seems legit. I've moved three sites over and waiting on the DNS for two more to resolve. Don't have any specific comparisons between this setup and my previous, but the pages load quickly, the support folks are fast to respond, and I've only paid the setup fee. I'm convinced.

I have some existing blogs I would transfer and I know a cPanel to cPanel transfer is easy and I can just backup to the new space via FTP and then change nameservers.
